AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FLASHBACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL.

The "tunnels" were built in the mid-1960's to shelter F-4's and F-105's.

Are you going to show us food?

AAAum... those tunnels are called hangars. Its where they keep the aircraft. no, we don't call sailboats in Europe junks.

Are all those cases and boxes in the last pic yours?

How much shopping did you buy? Did they let you take it all on the plane?

funky_house>> i know the hangar... but this is much different than hangars i know (and imagine)

if you dont call it as Europe junk, what is it called? just sailboat? or ship?

no, those cases and boxes are my group's belongling (4 of us)... i had only 4 of them

for Thai Air Asia, each passenger is allowed to take only 2 boxes/cases/luggages... and pay an extra for those... for the 3rd/4th box, i also have to pay an extra charge... but luckily, i can share quota and weight within my group (according to booking number)

and yes, we have to carry on plane too...

Frans65>> nahh... just my snack in the morning... the rest will be in the next one : )

Hugo>> YES! but when i do shopping... selecting those model... i'm fine... i even dont think about food.... but after that, my stomach is protesting : )

AAA....

The old sailing ships were called different names by there design.

I could not see the details of the ships too well (and I am not an expert)

Some looked like warships (with many cannons / guns) older ones... Spanish or Port. Galleons - maybe;

the slightlly newer looking with many gun: Ship-of-the -line or Frigates;

The sleek cargo ships might have been Clipper Ships. (they were the Western junks - but design for cargo & SPEED)

---the Cutty Sark wiskey is name for a famous and fast British Clipper ship of the 1800s.

Looked like a vey interesting shop...AND trip...I was think of a trip Viel Nam next month but decided for Thailand ! I hope you guys will allow me through customs???

Thanks for taking us aboard with you. It would have been nice to buy a ship to bring home or office

I expect I will have the same problem when I leave Thailand after my trip next month and must look into inexpensive ways to get gifts back for Christmas.

i saw many warships and frigates in the shop... and the model ship i bought named "Napoleon"

mostly travellers go to Hanoi, Da Nang, Da Lat

my Vietnamese guide recommends to go Da Lat in December... it's full of flowers there and good temp too...

for model ship, i'm sure you can order via website and do shipping before Christmas...

DanGerouZ>> 5555 it would be luckier if i could stay there longer...

i prefer visitting Hanoi, Da Nang and Da Lat... for Ho Chi Minh, nothing much there... i went there because of those model ships.
