i agree with Tom and i went to that place to donate money & foods before. they NEED love. need not to waste money on expensive breed.

My favorite is a French Bull dog --- but their isn't a best and any dog would do ....

But be aware that a pure breed needs premium dog food and treats cause if you you just buy anything their will be health problems because they are not that strong or resilient (probably because they don't originate from thailand)

If you just want a dog to love and don't want to have a hassel - i ll go with the mut idea - my grandma calls them "Off Road Breed" - just find one around you house or near the Soi that is to you liking feed him couple of days until he gets use to you and then one day take him to the vet - they eventually regard you home as their own.

I have 2 Off Roads at my house - outside roaming around the patio and front yard of the house - and i have a french bull dog inside

Big dog Rob but not too big, no kids around the house.. I like Labador retriever and golden retriever..

This is my second one, and they are awesome dogs.

My friend at the dog park has a golden and a beagle...they get along really well. The retriever takes good care of his little beagle friend.

I guess you've some info from those links already but I'd like to add... big dog is usually easier to taking care than small dog. Long fur dog take more time than short fur. Nutrition is very important, dog food is the way to go and you should stick with one brand. Your food/left over food isn't for dog,. and don't forget dog's teeth, ears, nails. It should be check regulary. (if you want your dog to be happy and healthy)

ShinZtu is my favorite. They are easy but they need extra care for bushing their fur. Golden Retriever is good family dog, but it needs exercise on daliy basis (or therwise they will be overwieght and that could cause problem with their hips.)
