Are men sensitive about their ages & look? :)

I personally like to observe about human behaviour toward how they are thinking and reacting to incidents. And in my perception men are less complexities and emotions to women, but this morning I have seen a topic on Yahoo, regarding a Hollywood actor who is concerned about his look, which caused me laugh to tears because I’ve never thought that he would be such sensitive and insecure. I excerpted some part of that topic as follow:

Arnold Schwarzenegger is sad that he’s not young anymore

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been busy since he left the California governor's office in January. Among other things, he's traveled to South America with director pal James Cameron; attended a Scorpions concert in Moscow with former USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev; and been immortalized as a comic book superheroknown as The Governator.

But while his life seems pretty great from the outside, Schwarzenegger confesses in the latest Newsweek that he has trouble looking at himself in the mirror these days--though it's not because of the sorry fiscal shape in which he left California. Rather, it seems the 63-year-old ex-governor is having trouble coming to terms with the fact he's getting old.

"I feel terrific about where I am in my life, when I look back at what I've accomplished," the former governor tells Lloyd Grove. "But I feel so sh*tty when I look at myself in the mirror."

Indeed, Schwarzenegger is a long way from his days as Conan the Barbarian. He's heavier, and his perpetually spray-tanned face is accentuated with crow's feet. But he's still in decent shape for a guy his age--not that Schwarzenegger sees that.

"I'm not competing, I'm not ripping off my shirt and trying to sell the body," the former governor frets. "But when I stand in front of the mirror and really look, I wonder: What the f*ck happened here? Jesus Christ. What a beating!"

And now what I always believe that men don’t care about age and look much probably not correct...hehe....5555..my laughing is not because they are sad but it is the laugh of satisfied to know what they are concerning and etc........

Well, a lot of bodybuilders get into the sport because they're insecure about their bodies. So it doesn't surprise me that age catching up with him makes him feel a little depressed.

Men are generally conscious of it, sure, although usually to a lesser extent than women.

Arnold is a special case - he made his life, his career, based on his physique and appearance. So it's not surprising that he takes special affront to the degradation thereof.

Men care straight up. They act like they don't. Top 2 things all guys stress about or feel insecure about:

1) looks

2) amount of money they make

The governator HAS the money. He HAD the looks. It's hard to let go of something you used to have. Probably why some guys still drunk dial their exes haha

Well in my opinion, it's about the trend as well. You can see from Asian guys especially Korean & Japanese. Right now the quantity of guy who looks after their image is increasing.

Moreover, most of Korean actors or male singers have a very good shape with exquisite plastic surgery for the ideal look. It works! A lot of Asian girls are crazy them and they're popular.

I guess that many young guys in Asian will follow their way.

Just getting old is somewhat depressing. Let alone losing your physique, hair, teeth, vision, etc. I think as we become older, we tend to re-visit the better days of youth, and are saddened that it no longer exists as it were. Just a fact of life.
