Admin_2 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Share Posted February 16, 2010 The Bangkok Pool League currently fields 37 8 ball teams and 33 9 ball teams across the city, and it's a great way to socialize, visit new bars, and to have fun. Most of the teams' homes are on Sukhumvit, but it does extend throughout the rest of Bangkok. Since partnering with the Bangkok Pool League, we've decided to open up a forum for players and spectators alike to come and discuss anything related to the league. If you are interested in joining a team, please send me or Michael (hbkbkk) a PM, and we'll be able to get you set up. 8 ball plays on Monday nights and 9 ball plays on Wednesday nights. hbkbkk Posted February 16, 2010 Report Share Posted February 16, 2010 We has decided to put the start of the spring season off for 1 week until March 1. Putting the schedule has been time consuming because a number of changes, and the size of the league makes a pre-season Captain's meeting essential. I will not be able to be ready by this Wednesday, and I would rather proceed slowly than rush to get things off by next week. The only real negative about the postponement is in spreading the word about the singles tournament. It is still scheduled for Saturday, Feb 20th. Please remind everyone about it, and also remind the bars that played last season that a contribution to the door prize list would be appreciated. Everyone is invited.
