Thai Torrent Sites?

You might want to google "streaming Thai tv". I remember seeing a box for sale for streaming Thai tv here in the UK. You might find something similar, or Thai internet TV for the U.S.

...Just had a quick "google" myself, and here are the first two hits: http://wwitv.com/television/204.htm http://delicast.com/tv/Thailand

Also http://www.seesantv.com/

They might be of some use.

I've seen a few sites like that before. What I really want is to just download the torrent so she can watch it on the television.

Based on the number of Thai DVD's I've seen before I know there's somewhere people are downloading this. But on the major download sites they don't return anything when I search for Thai programming. Maybe the titles and descriptions are in Thai script so it's not pulling them up.

Hmmmm . . . .

Are they on youtube? Maybe you can rip them from there.

Or there's an app called Thai Tunes which has loads of channels available for the iPad/Phone etc. But to get it onto the TV is another problem.

Yeah, actually I do have a few iPhone/iPad apps for Thai television and radio shows and it seems to work pretty good. I haven't tried the one you recommend but might give it a shot too.

The shows are on YouTube but the quality is pretty horrible when you rip from YouTube.

I use a media device called the Western Digital Media Hub. It is a 1tb hard drive unit that connects directly to your TV with an HDMI cable, has built in wifi, with 2 USB ports, and can link directly to YouTube to watch on your TV without downloading anything. The only thing is it does not have a Thai character set for typing in Thai script, but there might be something on their site for that. You can connect to it with wifi, or a cable from your computer for it to go online. It is a nice unit.

The other thing is the newsgroups/usenet, there are 2 pretty active Thai groups in the alt.binaries.thai area, no soaps, just music, and movies, but no porn, or you can get some things off Rapidshare.
