FarangFarang
Malaysian artist Hong Yi uses coffee stains to make art. Any other unusual artists?
kaunitz
If you look at what kind of "artists" make a hell of money today, you really know where our society is going. Just doing real artistic things out of the mainstream - like you showed here - is not profitable, unfortunately

FarangFarang
I just helped to kickstart this guy's weird project:http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/krisperry/machines I've helped kickstart plenty of artist's careers. When I run outside waving my shotgun yelling, "Get out of here you stinking hippy," I feel that it gives them inspiration.

At least, they might have considered to get into a normal job for making up their living - Which also would be a boost in their carreer! From Social Service Recipient to McDrive delivery clerk or so...By the way, and I am astonished that neither EB nor Iain got into this so far: It's Hippie Edited February 17, 2014 by FarangFarang

We have the coffee, toast next.
Stramash
Why do most artists sound as if they are talking out their own arses? At least Van Gogh just necked absinthe and sliced off ears...

English_Bob
I think you can be an artist without being a hippy. I'm pretty creative - see some of my fancy dress costumes. And our resident artist; Beej, is definitely not a hippy - in fact, since he had his hair cut, he looks like a right banker.
