kaunitz
I stumbled over a great page on Facebook called "Places to see before you die" - also Thailand has some mentions. Here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/placestosee?ref=pb So have a look there and, if you like, participate at the discussion at http://www.thailandfriends.com/group.php?discussionid=141&do=discuss Edited September 13, 2012 by kaunitz

FarangFarang
I can't believe that my bedroom isn't on that list yet. Probably due to the poor customer service. Doesn't have a very high ranking on Yelp.
kaunitz
Not in the poll actually but what do you think about Reykjavik, Halong Bay, Machu Picchu, Lalibela, Danakil Depression, Ushuaia or Kamchatka?

Those are just fake ratings from competitors that aren't as hansum as me...also from a few customers who didn't know they had to pay to leave. Sounds like Hotel California, but only one star. "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"
August02
Hi all, I think this is a perfectly safe destination to travel to, unfortunately Zimbabwe does receive negative news media and although some of it is relevant, much of it is not typical to what is happening on the ground. gold coast private rentals Edited October 6, 2012 by August02

Are you sure about this? I think that since Mugabe got gaga some years ago, at least we whities are not really safe anymore.

Best point of it - it's completely for free!

Jos_38
Not in the poll actually but what do you think about Reykjavik, Halong Bay, Machu Picchu, Lalibela, Danakil Depression, Ushuaia or Kamchatka? Reykjavik been there, would like to go again sure, very special not really beautiful unless You like "nothing green" but the country somehow makes You feel very very very tiny... Halong Bay - been there, rain and 9 degrees, I guess if I go again I would try to figure out when the sun is shining and temperature is up, because that was really not that fun Machu Picchu - I would like to go there for sure, and in that area (all is relative) I would love to go to Lake Titicaca... Lalibela... hmmm - yeah if peace is restored to the area, but my doctor is almost certain that is not going to happen in my time Ushuaia ?? When it is really hot it is 15 degrees :-/ I feel it is bitter cold now in Thailand were it is 24 degrees when I wake up in the morning... No way On my personal list is Yellowstone national park, Base Camp Mt. Everest, Kilimanjaro, Borobudur (that I know I will reach), Ulu Temburong National Park and sky walk... And 1,000 other places but as I got older I try to keep close to equator .
