ling_dtua_khaao
This Computers & Technology forum that I moderate is terrifically boring. So, to spice things up a little, I want you to tell me what piece of technology in your life brings you the most pleasure, and why. It could be something useful. It could be something entertaining. It could be something that vibrates in the right places. OK, I'll go first. My bicycle. It rocks my world. It's been around the world with me. When I mount it and ride hard it's ecstasy. Oh, and there's also that little pink Japanese vibrating egg thingy I bought for Sand and I.... --Ling

inamorato25
As much as I love my computers, I would have to say that for overall satisfaction, it's my iPod. While all the other people have to listen to the shite music being piped into a coffee shop, I'm rockin' to excellent music. As for pink vibrating things, you can buy those in vending machines here. Tried with with an old ex, but got bored and it was waaay too noisy. Oh, and the fact that it was designed to look like a tiny piece of corn didn't help much either. Princess
My laptop of course...its still fairly new (2 months old). Holds all my secrets  and never tells anyone, doesn't demand beer or sex, listens patiently to my babbling and I didn't have to toilet train it. I lurve it

ling_dtua_khaao
Amazing Blenderphone What I want to know is, is it fully functional as a blender also? Obviously you can't use it as a blender and talk on the phone at the same time though, which is a drag. --Ling

Niranahm
My current favorites are my Canon ixus 30 and my video iPod. I like my cameras to be fully pocketable (else I lose them) but to have more than basic functionality. With these toys and an AV cable I can make and take video, photos and music anywhere and inflict them on others pretty anywhere else. Having owned other mp3 players the ease of use of the iPods are great. Favorite laptops are Fujistsu S series. Thin and light for easy travel and the hot swappable drive bay allows me to take out the DVD thingy and put in an extra battery for long flights. Biggest nuisance is the mess of wires, cables and universal adaptors I have to carry in my laptop bag which tangle into each other. I am still waiting for a phone/PDA cross to excite me. Having lost pocket PCs and the like to the taxi drivers, I can't quite see an easily pocketable device that will persuade me to keep the laptop at home, but is worth carrying around all the time...
