Matthew
The classic tune from Marc Cohn - Walking In Memphis... Put on my blue suede shoes And I boarded the plane Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues In the middle of the pouring rain W.C. Handy -- won't you look down over me Yeah I got a first class ticket But I'm as blue as a boy can be Then I'm walking in Memphis Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale Walking in Memphis But do I really feel the way I feel Saw the ghost of Elvis On Union Avenue Followed him up to the gates of Graceland Then I watched him walk right through Now security they did not see him They just hovered 'round his tomb But there's a pretty little thing Waiting for the King Down in the Jungle Room (Chorus) They've got catfish on the table They've got gospel in the air And Reverend Green be glad to see you When you haven't got a prayer But boy you've got a prayer in Memphis Now Muriel plays piano Every Friday at the Hollywood And they brought me down to see her And they asked me if I would -- Do a little number And I sang with all my might And she said -- "Tell me are you a Christian child?" And I said "Ma'am I am tonight" (Chorus) Put on my blue suede shoes And I boarded the plane Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues In the middle of the pouring rain Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues In the middle of the pouring rain
eagle
I believe in Jesus and Buddha and Mohamad but I don't believe in the religions built up around them. if you think for yourself you can still get the good out what they had to say. Thats what makes them great men !!

luckyphil247
As far as Christianity is concerned, I think that the whole thing is a crock of poo, which was fabricated at a time when the "ruling classes" realised that the growing ranks of the uneducated ignorant masses needed something upon which they could focus their ginorance and allay their fear of the unknown. The Christian Church, in my opinion, is the biggest scam of them all. Antiquity attests to more religions conceived, supported by relatively much larger numbers of followers, which ran their course and were discarded, lasting eons longer than this pathetic bunch of power hungry control freaks have been around. koyha
The Christian Church, in my opinion, is the biggest scam of them all. What about the Roman Catholic Church and young boy's??? BeeJay
most of the religions suck becaus ethey all propagate their own betterness. where budhism tells you to be good for others.. therefor I favor the buuha way of thinking. even when being a non believer of afterlife . Most relegions bring war and terror ( see the last 3000 years) a world without religion would be a world with beleiving you are better then the rest.
