baboe
Would be interesting to hear what software you use daily. For me, I use quite a lot : . firefox for browsing . thunderbird (windows) and pine (unix) for email . MSN Life messenger for chat . notepad for quickly storing text pieces . iTunes for music . Adobe Lightroom for photo selection/Raw conversion/slideshows/... . Photoshop CS2 for deep pixel manipulation of photos . Breezebrowser for photo website creation . Windows XP (thinking of changing to Vista) on desktop, Mac OS X on laptop, Solaris on workstation . ssh client to make connections to my workstation . ping/traceroute/telnet/ftp tools for my job . Oracle C3 client for database at work (It sucks majorly!!! :-( That's more or less the stuff I daily use...

duanja
Adware SE. FREE EDITION  scan for spyware everday, everyone has suggestion on better free anti-spyware? AVG Free Edition has free anti-virus and free anti-spyware. I use both. I also use the free version of Ad-Aware. I stopped using Norton stuff because it's too much of a hardware resource hog. Thank you Ja,,,,before my laptop was installed with AGV. Free. But seem like AGV does not update or scan automatically. But I don't know for sure. Norton is really heavy, but i know how to Norton buttons. That saves my energy, and my soul. Anyway, meanwhile I think I will learn about AVG more before my norton expires at the end of this year. Oh...as I see you gals here using firefox, I try install it too. it is good good.
