Extracts From Wikipiedia (Re: Donna Simpson)

When she was 19, she met Robert Simpson, a chef at a steak restaurant. They married five years later. He encouraged her to eat by bringing leftovers home from work for her; Simpson said "he liked me supersized". They had a child together and subsequently divorced.
In 2006, she met Phillippe Gouamba in an online chat room for overweight women. Gouamba said: "I’ve always been attracted to big women, but Donna is my fantasy. The more she weighs, the sexier she is." They planned to get married in a ceremony at dawn on a mountain in Maui. They separated in 2011.

In February 2007, Simpson gave birth to a baby named Jacqueline via cesarean section. Her birth required a team of 30 doctors. She became the heaviest woman ever to give birth. At the time she weighed 532 pounds (241 kg).

Six months after giving birth, she decided that her target weight would be 1,000 pounds (454 kg).

However, during her pregnancy, she developed diabetes and high blood pressure.

Gouamba said that he supports this goal: "Gaining weight makes Donna happy and seeing her happy makes me happy." He is one of her biggest supporters in her journey to reach 1,000 pounds.

So, I highly doubt those blokes had to jump through hoops to get what they wanted from a "porker" (obvious understatement here) & I'm assuming it was done 'au naturale' & no turkey baster was needed.

eeeuuuwww!! gross-631.gif

BANGKOK: -- Thailand?s first standard body size chart has been unveiled to the public on Wednesday, with Thai people developing bigger sizes and shapes than the past generation.

The National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), under the Ministry of Science and Technology, announced its team of 11 researchers has successfully developed Thai standard size chart under the two-year programme called ?SizeThailand?.

The research found that Thai men have grown more than seven centimetre taller and about 12 kilometre fatter, while Thai women have grown five centimetre taller and about five and a half kilogrammes fatter compared to 25 years ago. ?Thai women?s waistline has also ballooned by 3.7 inches, bottom grown by 2 inches and chest expanded by 2.2 inches,? said Dr. Chularat.

The fact that Thai men and women have developed significantly bigger chests, waists and bottoms, means the shape of the average Thai has also changed. In particular, Dr. Chularat noted, the women have become more tubular and have less of the traditional hourglass shape.

From news, i'm curious what are the factors influenced Thai men and women shape... because of plenty of good foods, less exercise, rush life, more entertainment, high technology (that brings convenience) or ?????

And how about the other countries? do they have the bigger average size either?

let discuss.... i'd like to hear from you

I, for one, who can be a proof of this article ! As me self size is, as said in the news, much bigger than me in 25 years ago, seriously.

admitting that I did not read any answers I might be redundant.

Thing is that people generally are growing bigger. My parents are 181cm and 163cm respectively and at the time, my father was considered quite tall and my mother average. I am 185cm, my brothers (who are 9 and 11 years younger than me) are a bit taller than me and if I look around in "normal life", it's no good point to be in the back row of a rock concert anymore for me as i would not see anything.

So people ARE growing taller - out of which reasons ever. It is proven that my generation (born in the 60's) on average is taller than the generation of my parents (born in the 30's). After this, Darwin came to a conclusion and the "new generation" is not much taller than I am.

Well, now for the weight: I only can tell for Central Europe but I have a firm belief: We are living in a time of peace and prosperity - and of Americanization (sorry, my friends from across the big lake) and this means comuters, sitting at home, eating McDonalds and so on. As a child and teenager, I did not have computer games, PS, Wii and so on, so if I did not read, what to do, especially on a sunny day? Go out and play football, bicycling, running around in the yard and other physical activities.

So your allegations or conclusions are completely correct. And YES, also in Central Europe, overweight and obesity are on advance. But there is one thing I have to say from my personal experiences: As I can see among high school students, there are some who really are obese but the vast majority still keeps a normal shape.
