You are not the one in the bad situation,but the othrs also.
We should hold hand in hand and fight side by side and stay clam as your best!

i have been month travelling and picture floods areas all around
i'm today located in Bangkok, which i presuming
it will be the last place where water will divert.
i maybe naive using the word "presuming"
but this is today reality and we are day by day predicted.

I've set up a new group called "Nostalgica" that up to now goes quite unnoticed. maybe I should tell a bit about my intentions in order to promote it.
This group is not meant to be hailing "the good old times", but we all have memories and some of them are not too bad. Maybe there is also space for comparison old times - nowadays. Looking into the future or living in the present does not mean that we need to forget or erase the past.

Dropped off at Wat Sa Kampaeng Yai on the way to Surin. I recommend it as a place to visit if you are over that way. The tourist industry have pumped some money into it I think and there's some renovation going on. They are also building a massive Buddha image nearby. Possibly taller than the one in Roi-et.

Due to damages at Khlong Raphipkat dam, they are now reducing water in the basin and channeling it through Khlong Rangsit. My wife already told me that the first houses in our project are flooded now and estimates that within two days, the water will be at our place. :mad: Luckily, some of her family helped her to get sofas, fridge and washing machine in the upper floor but still, the big furniture incl. the kitchen are at risk. Presently staying in Udon. Nice city albeit a little sleepy. It rained pretty much all the way from Roi-et to Udon particulary after Yasothorn where we stopped for a late lunch. Some pics of the flooding south of Roi-et, it was quite extensive.
The Mun River (below) in Ubon is also very high and has tipped over places.

Flooding in Thailand this time I have learnt a lot. Believe it or not, I've never been all by myself. I never live alone. I live with 6 roomies but I don't know any of them. However, I have to learn to make new friends.
I've never taken care of my stuff I throw it everywhere in my room, but sharing room I should "Kraeng chai" my roomies. I've never done laundry by myself before so it's time to do it.
At home I have plenty of cloths but at the suites I just have my uniforms, some short, a pair
Yes, may be facing difficulties in your relationship. And just had a big fight with specail one, and a loss of what to do. So just broke up with the loved one. with thinking about whether to let him or her go and end the relationship. Sad love quotes might help to express whatever that's deep within :s

Currently holed up in Roi-et with no wifi in room but the hotel has a cocktail bar, a disco and a coyote bar - hence no mini bar in room but it does have a bath ! Trip been ok but emptied down in marsarakham so made a dash for Roi-et during a lull. Will head down to Ubon tomorrow I think. Will get pics up ASAP :-)
