I jut got the news today from my brother-in-law that he died just a few hours ago. Anybody who read my journals before know my brother, Daniel, was having a braintumor and it all went quickly (I'm happy for him that it didn't take too long). Every time I visited him, I know it was coming closer. He couldn't take care of himself anymore the last weeks. He suffered a lot from headache and final he went in a deep sleep (not a coma) and give up fighting.

He was only 1 year older than me and I spend a lot of time and doing all thing young guys will do together whit him when we were young. I will keep this in my mind, as a good memory of my beloved brother.

My condolences, Eric. You knew his time was coming but somehow I'm not sure that makes it any easier. Lay him to rest, and be at peace with yourself knowing that you, and others, let him know that he would never be forgotten.

Ik ben er zeker van dat er ontzettend veel goede herinneringen overblijven aan Daniel. Het leven kan soms te kort zijn dus geniet van het leven en bij elke nieuwe belevenis voel je dat het ook een stuk voor je broer is. Sterkte tijdens deze dagen.
