But you will find knuckleheads in every country and of every race... that should not be the deciding factor...good luck with your search I hope it works out for you.

Well, To meet him or not shouldn't be a big deal.

A. If you meet him then you'll have a more concrete idea what he is like- if you like him then good, if not then good... you won't be wasting your time chatting and sending SMS to him the next time.

B. If you won't meet him...then fine too. Shouldn't be a big deal. As long as you are decided that this is what you want then there's no problem.

I know what you mean, I am not into meeting people I've met online too...But, I think there can be exceptions. If safety is your concern, then I guess it is best to meet each other on these conditions:

1. Daytime

2. Meet in a place where there are plenty of people. No need for fancy dates when meeting the 1st time.

3. Do not bring your precious and expensive belongings with you.

4. Tell someone about it

5. You can bring along your friends with you, just make them sit iin another table, and pretend that you're alone and don't know them. (lol)

6. Never leave your food or drinks... You'll never know if he'll put something in it (if he is a bad guy)...

7. Do not wear sexy clothes (you might give him a wrong signal)

... and if these terms still are not good to you, then yes, the best choice is not to meet at all.
