Well, I just want to say that vote whoring works. You get testimonials or private messages that say "Vote number XXX for you, have a good day!", and you vote them back. This is vote whoring! And as TF is now, it works. The vote whores get votes.

In my opinion, votes should be given to those who contribute to the TF community. TF is, after all, a community of people who relate to each other and enjoy mutual friendship. So why would you give a vote to someone who contributes nothing?

I know that voting is a controversial subject. But don't you think your votes should go to those who contribute to the TF community?

Okay, let's open the subject? Why do YOU vote and for what reason?

I vote when I see someone giving a good opinion or writes something otherwise good to journal or forum...Or then to someone who just happens to be my friend I chat with, those I vote time to time. Or vote once someone whose profile I happen to check out for one reason or another, that being the smallest proportion of my votes. And thats it.

vote whores should get 2 points deducted everytime they ***** for a vote!!!

I vote first of all my friends,second a nice journal or profile that we might have something in common and some times just because she is pretty never sent a message this is vote xxxx or never asked for a vote oh and true sometimes vote just because they voted for me )

Thanks for all the comments. I hoped that SOMEONE could suggest a better system of voting for TF. And some people missed my point entirely, but that's to be expected.

Let's see if TF Ver. 3.0 will have some improvements. I do hope so!
