*This is a long SERIOUS journal.* I lost control (to a degree) last night.I missed my flight to Jakarta and ended up spending 12 hours in the airport police office. PRISONER.gif  Actually, I wasn't imprisoned...the cops were on my side.  My flight left at 7:10 AM, but I went down to Absolute 7 at 1:00AM to say goodbye to Stu, and have a goodbye drink with TF member "hypermanic".Then we went to soi 13 where we drank 2 whisky sets.We went to my apt, picked up my girl and my luggage, and headed to the airport.I don't know what time we arrived there, but we were late.I got past immigration and SUPRISE.! There were 2 Tf members heading off on a weekend trip!* (I won't say who they were because I don't know if the trip together is a secret or not) I found I didn't have my passport with me, I didn't know which way I passed through immigration, so the female TF member ran me back to immigration and immigration had my passport.*Usually I carry my passport in a littly blue bag,and when I was handed my passport, I saw a blue bag on the desk. I said "Is this mine?" and went to touch it, and the immigration officer attacked me!The officer said it wasn't mine.*I said  "I say it is mine...You say it is yours...     50/50    Lets have a look...."I unzipped it, and sure enough it wasn't my belongings , so I zipped it closed, and said "Sorry!"The officer further attacked me, and slammed 2 hands into my chest, so I had to stop the attack, and used a Chinese technique called "the eagle claw"(ying jow pai), with one finger putting pressure on a special  nerve at the elbow, making the arm almost useless.*The police were called, and I was taken to the airport police station, and the immigration officer had to be taken to the hospital. The immigration officer was told not to work for one week (by the doctor) because of the damage, and the immigration officer charged me with assault !We pulled a few strings, and pulled in high ranking cops from other areas, wanting to make this thing "forgotten"After 12 hours of 8 policemen, and the officer's supervisor, trying to get the immigration officer to take "mai pen rai" attitude, the officer refused to budge. the immigration officer wanted revenge on me. (when it was the officer that attacked me!)*I had 2 choices.Plead "not guilty" to attacking the officer , and not be allowed to leave the country for a few months until court date.....or plead guilty , sign a confession, and go to court Monday, and pay a fine of maximum 6000 baht. I said "guilty" so I go to court Monday. But the thing is, I was attacked     .......       I defended.* The police are VERY angry at the immigration officer,(especially the high rankers we pulled in from outside the airport department) and they KNOW, I acted in self defence. So on Monday, one of the police officers is going to charge  the immigration officer with assault.*Some of us spoke the other day in journals about "*** for tat!" This  is a prime example of "*** for tat".*although I "touched" a bag that was the same as the bag my passport was in, it doesn't give an immigration officer the right to attack me with force!  And I still had to plead guilty , just to be "allowed" to leave the country after court !5000 baht penalty for changing my flight  .6000 baht fine for supposedly "attacking an immigration officer..."*But now revenge to the immigration officer is coming directly from the police.*Now the immigration officer has to go to the police station, be fingerprinted, and is charged with assault. "*** for tat" Sorry for the long ranting, but I should be in Jakarta right now, and I had to call my Indonesian boss, and say "I missed my flight, and my job on Monday, because I am going to court for putting an immigration officer in the hospital" I just made a great "first impression" on my boss...  :-( (luckily my boss understands, made a few phone calls to verify, and backs me up fully.)*Fcuk !!!!

I have to say man, I don't feel sorry for you, I'm not being nasty in any way at all, I just feel you were a. pissed and b.didn't have to use any force at all on the Immigration officer, just step back hold your hands up and say sorry.

These people can and will **** with you, its better to leave them 100% alone, after all he could PROPER black list you.

beejoir:

I understand that 100%.

No offence taken.

I was pissed(drunk) 4 sure.

My reaction was already subconciously trained (unfortunately).... (no time to think first)

you are absolutely correct!

I should have stepped back with hands up, and said sorry!.

I DO expect to be fuc*ked by them now, (without any foreplay)

the high ranking cops are guaranteeing me there will be no police record....but that doesn't mean that immigration won't "have it in for me!"

I fuc*ked up. that is the bottom line....and i can accept that...I have no choice!

I played with the "big boys"

I may have won the battle, but not the war.

The immigration officer had no right to attack me, but that department also can hold a secret grudge, and thwart my future attempts for my life in Thailand.

That is why the cops want to charge the officer...to get things on record, and "in the books"

The cops want the officer guilty...but immigration is still "not the cops territory..."

I need a fuc*king "time machine!"

I wish yesterday (still today) never even happened.......

ah...i see that you have some connections (sen sai) with thai cops. I do not know any cop and if I manage to send the officer to hospital, I will get loads of troubles.

You are lucky already by the fact that there will be no record in the police though you did plead guilty.

If you don't have a police record in thailand, you will be lucky, small price to pay. Maybe you can back off of charging the immigration officer, as no good will come of that, other than really making them angry with you.

but i spent one hour already answering everyone, and then, gf's computer crashes...

i have a LOT to say about all comments, and some officer that claims to be a buddhist, and wont' event look at the person down on their knees bowing'wai'ing to them.

is not even 2% buddhist

only my opinion, they are a piece of ****

i am not talking about TF'ers

i am talking about an immigration person that claims to be a true buddhist.

BAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

buddhism comes more from Love and respect.......... than from hate..and resentment.

Lets just hope they let you back in the country, and that kreng jai doesn't dominate your court date monday. To put an immegration person in the hospital because you got push back out of the way is quite an over reaction on your part, when the person was right in the first place, it wasn't your passport.

It will be interesting if they bring the security camera footage to court. Not that I disbelieve you, but I've never known someone that was drunk to get the whole story right.

I am getting psycho furious.

I just answered everyone of you again, member by member, and this computer erased my answers to you.

time 2 step out and have a "smoke"...calm down..chill out....don't get my girdle in a knot...kool my jets...take a chiill pill

I am ready to snap right now..seriously...

(thai people...I am talking total slang...might not make any sense to you...sorry)

koolbreez: no insult but you are not reading with your glasses on :-)

i didn't put an immigration person in the hospital because i was #1pushed #2 back in line.

I was already past immigration!

they forgot to give me my passport.

and i was't "pushed"..I was SLAMMED" in the chest (that is potentially deadly)

#3 It WAS my passport...you said it wasn't...(it wasn't my bag!)

and yes..i requested the video.

no problem! i am just overly sensitive on this whole issue....I certainly have no disrespect for you!

...and you are right...a person drunk, more often than not, doesn't get the whole story right.

I suspect I am seeing things "my way"

The camera will show the truth, and there is a possibility I overstepped my boundaries..Not the first time i have done that! (I am ashamed to admit)
