I drank red wine (nice one, french product) in office waiting for a colleauge finishing her work. (i thought) I didnt get drunk !  LaughingI drove back home safely and had funny chating with the colleauges, after dropped them off i parked my car at street side near house to get something from 7-11... I hit a motorcyle while i drove reverse which was parked around there and it fell down.  YellI tried to pull that motorcycle back but its too heavy it pulled me down with it in other side.., i had few bruises in my legs. Frown and 2 long big scratches on my car. CryI drove back home freaked out.., feeling guilty, scared and regret ( that i should have been more careful )  UndecidedCan i blame that (delicious) french wine ??

Drink driving is nothing to be proud of.....what if it had been a small child you had reversed into? would you have came home and bitched about the bruises on your legs then??

Just say no!!! as grange hill used to say...well Zammo did

I just hope you didn't mess up the person's motorbike to bad. Think about what you'd think if someone drunk hit your car, and left without telling you. Most car accidents are caused by people drinking, and trying to drive. I'm sorry if I sound mean, I just have no sympathy for someone that drives after they have been drinking. There are just too many people killed, or permanantly injured because of it. It's the biggest reason for car accidents in Thailand.

you're lucky it wasn't a kid or even a dog on the street. The guy who owns the motorbike is not too lucky tho, when he comes back to find the damages on his bike. He MIGHT think it's lucky enough that he wasn't ON the bike! You're lucky he wasn't on the bike!!

I hope you think of this everytime before you start your engine after you've had drinks. ... It's not about 'your life' anymore when you drive off that car... It's about the others now.

I've witnessed a woman driving reverse in 'day light' and crashed a motorbike and HE already tried to stop her! Off course, that doens't apply to all the driving in reverse crime scene. She definielte wasn't drunk she was just careless.

Basically, now you 'know' that you have less capability in driving after you only had some WINE... You are going to 'consider' NOT DRIVING when you had drinks.... right? - Or u feel that that was just a small accident and it didn't hurt anyone...Insurance will pay. - Or was that just some luck of the day that it would have happenned anyway even u didn't drink?

In Victoria, Australia we have an ad for drink driving - "If you drink and drive, you're a bloody idiot !"

Also seen toooooooooooooo many results of this sort of thing over the years here in the "Land of Smiling Traffic Jams."

With taxi's being so cheap in Thailand, their is no excuse for drinking and driving.

If yo ucan afford a car, then you can for sure afford the taxi fare home.
