I felt irritated while i was driving to office this morning... to be more specific, it's not the first time i feel... many times actually.

What's wrong with using the turn signal? i have no idea... (almost) everytime i use the turn signal for changing lane.... it doesnt mean " i tell them..please let me in"..... rather... it means like "please hurry up and ignore me"...

No matter how slow they are... but when my signal showing up.... they "has to" speed up!!!

Sometimes i laughed, sometimes i feel confused and sometimes i feel irritated...

Moreover, when they passed me through... for example, i can get into that lane after his car... his car was still slow motion... and kept the huge space between the car in front.... as before (my signal showing up)

And, (not) surprisingly, they mostly are Thai guys....

The turn signal is there for a purpose and you are right to use it. If someone speeds up to prevent you turning , or moving into another lane, it just means that they are a bad, or inconsiderate driver.

Surely there can't be many of those in Thailand? :-)

turn signals, as well as brakes, are optional in Thailand. Use the horn instead

ammm...Ron... i have no idea if i use horn....whehter they would know this is the signal (from me) to them.... since sometimes i heard horns like an orchestra!!!

yes, PiAnt....and also i think motorbike guys have a good sensibility... as well as...balancing act...

sometimes i found out that motorbike guys had to speed up before they were crushed into something...

The woman who slammed into my motorcycle had HER turn signal turned on... I think that legally gives her the right of way here, does it not?

Thank God I drive through industrial area more time and there are only a few cars

It "stimulated me" to the tune of 6 months of lying around... The funny thing was that SHE was the one crying as I was smeared all over the ground. hehe

What I learned living there for 2 years is 'drive like you are angry'!

Signal and move immediately.

Makes driving a lot of work and no fun. : - (

can not drive in bangkok ( im still a novice )

Horns do seem to work best.

You forgot to mention .... If you drive a Mercedes in Bkk, you can do anything you damn want.

No Idea, I drink so I dont drive.... actually I cant drive plus I got no car...

driving in Bkk, how can you avoid feeling irritated. It could be worse, you could be a cop who has to stand outside on the busy street sucking up all the exhaust fumes.

hahaha.. here in saudi never use your turn signal if you have to cut in.. got to take them by surprise!! got to noise in just the right amount so it will be very tight but not impossible for them to still pass.. take on small narrow vehicle in front of a big wide one for sure success!
