Kao Yai..Yee haaa!!! (1)

Kao Yai or Khao Yai National Park is my destination this time.... for 1 day trip...  Kao Yai, is about 200 kilometres from Bangkok, stretches over 4 provinces including Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Nayok, Saraburi, and Prachin Buri. Nakhon Ratchasima, I-San’s largest province, is generally known as "Khorat".... cowboy city in Thailand....i would say....I hadnt been to Khorat for ages... this time i saw cowboy style everywhere in Khorat..... maybe because of a famous attraction; Chokchai Farm.... a signature of Khorat.... or who knows the fact... please share : )start time: 8.30 a.m. After spending almost 3 hours in Van, we get the 1st attraction; Primo Posto DSC04652.jpg... they should get the new paint... dont you think?DSC04653.jpg... have to pay TB 55 for entrance... but a coupon can be used for drinks, desserts or foodDSC04654.jpgDSC04655.jpgDSC04662.jpg   DSC04660.jpg   DSC04661.jpgDSC04702.jpgDSC04703.jpgDSC04667.jpgDSC04668.jpg   DSC04721.jpgaction.......!!!there is so crowded... i can see people "action!" everywhere....DSC04674.jpg.... "the best attempt" award...DSC04675.jpgBUT!!!!.............. PLZ, be careful every step you move.... i beg you!DSC04704.jpg... nice!!!DSC04705-1.jpg ... italian restaurantDSC04746.jpg... nowhere is my destination...time for lunch.... we feel like steak... but no idea where is the restaurant nearby...anyway, just happened to see this place... [wanna go somewhere else but we lost :/ ]DSC04751.jpg... Kao Yai Cowboy City...definitely they would have STEAK!!!DSC04750.jpgDSC04752.jpg.... errr... not so sure we got either good or bad luck :|anyway, just order... we are hungry!!!!!!!!!!DSC04755.jpgDSC04756.jpgDSC04757.jpgDSC04758.jpgi would let you guys guess how it tastes.... tik-tok-tik-tok...my group get consensus.... the answer is ..."no good" :(however, we order one more plate... and we choose "fried rice"... we get consensus again... it's just ok... ***sigh***hrrrrrrrrrr..... just let it go.... better head to the highlight of the day.... The pictures are great! But that's a bummer about the food. You would think that a place called "Cowboy City" would have good beef. :-(

petey>> LOL... we just said (on phone... we have 2 cars) we feel like steak after leaving Primo Posto... i mentioned Chokchai Farm where is famous for steak... but, it is far away from where we were and our destination... so... another car was heading us to this place... which he had no idea for this too! just bad luck : )

those are very nice thanks for sharing

I think the primo paint is probably a look they are trying to achieve a lot of the homes in parts of italy look kinda like that original and untouched. kinda to keep old world look I guess. I could be wrong. these look like very good mini excursion trips thanks. you are implanting ideas into my head like a mad scientist...lol
