Hi, I am too lazy to search all the forums about this, so I figured I would just put this out there...I have a type "O" visa with multiple entries which is good for a year.  My 90 day window is approaching and I am planing to take a bus trip to Cambodia for the day to reset my 90 day clock.Just wondering if any of you have done this before and could give me some tips or any helpful insight.  Or if anyone needs to do the same that might want to go along for the day. Thanks for any and all help.  Cheers!Chris

The place the buses leave from is Central Bang Na. I went to PP and had already organised my Cambodian visa here in BKK. Don't know how much a day-pass visa is but it may even be more expensive than a normal visa which is US$ 25. Passport with Visa and enough cash and you should be fine. 8)

Do you have to leave the country for 48 hours?? My husband will have to do the same next month and that's what we got told from the Thai consulate in the UK. It would be great if he can just cross the border and come back on the same day.

Thank all of you so much. So far my plan is to catch the bus Wednesday morning and come back the same day. Hobbes, If this website is correct (http://www.cambodia-travel.com/information/cambodia-visa.htm) It should be $20 for the Cambodian visa at the border, plus whatever it will cost for my visa back into Thailand. Just trying to keep costs to a min being that I am in between gigs right now. Thanks again for taking the time to post.

Sorry to hear you don't have a gig to go with you :)

Based on my limited experience, a couple of years back, you'll have to pay at least 1000 baht at the border for the cambodian visa, and the guards may well ask for a processing fee too. OTOH if there's a queue, for a few hundred more the might expedie the process for you.

Guesswho>>>as far as my Thai friends have told me...no. I can go and come back.

Neutron>>> I was supposed to have someone with me, but things became complicated for her and she bailed on my plan. So, unless I can find someone before the 20th....looks like I am solo.

so....as you already have the 1 year multy entry visa in your passport, you just need to get the stamp out/in of thailand, even during the same day.

some countries require you to make another local visa to enter (exemple laos 35 usd), but others give you just the 30 days free stay (exemple malaysia).

anyway it is better for you to reach the visa counter with the correct amount of money, otherwise u will be charged much more in their currency or THB. the exchange rate may vary depending on the day...hehehe!!

the amount is always showed in usd, so better for you to pay in usd.

Really? I need photos before I go? Damn. I made copies of my passport, but I haven't gotten any photos and I did not get my visa for Cambodia. I was planing on getting it at the border. Thanks for the heads up Koolbreez.
