Well that's the boring netbook assassinated in a single blow from Apple.. However this video doesn't do it justice at all, the one from apple.com has far more detail. I would have liked to see the webcam but i guess that takes it uncomfortably close to the Macbook or Air computers.

However, just one time in the last 10 years it would have been nice to see some innovation from a PC vendor.

Thanks for comments everyone Looks like it share files in same way as iPod Touch and iPhone using wireless. I just saw new apps for spreadsheets & Docs for at iTunes Store. I think the iPad is better than Netbook, much nicer screen and iPhone apps, killer combo :0) Addition of webcam and usb port would be nice.

IMHO the iPad very useful in education especially for elementary level students.

When you think about it this could be a serious product in the marketplace. When I go on the road, I don't need my entire PC. I just need to surf the web and answer emails. In fact, I would use my laptop to watch movies or read but it's way too bulky and eats up way too much battery (on the plane - especially long-haul flights like Europe/Asia). This seems like a perfect middle-ground.

Yay an oversized iPod Touch! What a load of crap and everyone will buy it again...... But wait, you can buy a sleeve and a keyboard dock to make it more like eeeehhhhm...... well..... a netbook!

The 3G is a problem due to the micro sim .... may not be available, very difficult to buy a local datacard when you go abroad and cant transfer your sim from your iphone.

I would guess that the jailbreak app MyWi solves all these problems (it turns your phone into a wifi hotspot so your laptop or pc can be connected and tether to your cellular connection). The 3G is a bit of a con to an iphone customer who already has 3G and a data account.

Lack of multitasking is a shame.
