Beautiful shots. I didn't even think we grew lavender in England. Looks like Provence.

As for the one with the sheep, I think that was taken from the Mudchute Farm on the Isle of Dogs.

figured you put in one of your favorites --Sheep behinds! (at least you are past doin'little lambs LOL)

My choice: neist point at dusk (for what it is worth) thanks for the peeks!

It's bloody difficult to look anywhere on Skye that does not have a stunning vista but that Neist Point one is amazing. Oh and the sheep behinds are strictly for cockneys and mockneys

so for Skye --- looks like it is up A82 to A87....how long a trip from Glas...?

Can't put a time on it - too much to see. If non stop, 5-6 hours. Can take the bridge but then you miss the drive up the 'road to the isles' (and get the ferry from Mallaig) so A82, left at Fort William then the A830

I like this one...

I travelled to the balcony outside my bedroom and took it. Wiv me camera.

Cheers Iain - these are awesome. I love landscapes and when I'm out shooting, I usually get up at 6 am because the light is beautiful. Quite a few of these look like very early morning shots.

Nice shots, it looks like God missed with the lightning and Isle of Wight. Hope he hits it next time.

EB: Very nice picture. Nice light at that time, but it just feels unnatural to get up at that time for me.

@ Dave. Yes, dawn or dusk does seem to give that bit of 'unusual' light that can turn an ordinary shot great! And very nice cityscape too!

@ Alan. Agreed. Have spent a lot of time on Skye but not when it's that cold!

@ Teddy.Leave the Isle of Wight alone! I'm off to Bestival this year!
