Why men disappear after they got GF?

He wants to spend time with his g/f?

My ex-boyfriends are disappeared after they got married and have kids. No Skype no email!!! Bastards!!! :eh:

Seriously, it's all about priority Nong1. When one has a partner, a friend is not really the first priority.

I think this is correct.

I started a new relationship late last year and I do still keep in touch with my inner circle of friends and so does she. But really, our new relationship is the priority now, especially while its in that wonderful early period.

I actually found that a few regular online 'friends' stopped contacting me when my status changed, and one even deleted me on FB! lol So it does work the other way too.

But at the end of the day, the people I consider to be my real friends are all still there, so all the rest don't really matter at all. People come and go and I don't take it seriously.

So you're in relationship. That's why you stop visiting my profile. Must de-friend you now.

Agreed, real friends will always be there!

haha... actually you went quiet long before I started relationship my dear

and what happened to our very useful get together? Was looking forward to seeing you and comparing ideas

I'm coming in April as planned.

Hope you drink wine from box. I have some in stock!

aaah... chateau cardboard...hmmm...I have been known to do that at some points in my life....Me thinks I better stock up on a few bottles for you here

Burgundy please, don't forget Epoisses.

Off topic Sorry Nong1.. Old (friends) people get together, you know.

so... there you have it N' BCool.... See?...friends can still be friends... even after some lapsed times... and even when new relationships start or not. And thats how it should be

haha i understand kha..

well, i and my friends, no matter what how long we are apart... we can talk and laugh...no matter what they are in relationship or not...

yeah some of those friends might not be a good friends as they should be...

I disagree witht the last statement.

My friends always get introduced to girls andI don't vanish. I might booka few nights off from the boys but that's all good.

From time to time one of the 'group' has vanished on account of a partner and i understand they just want an easy relationship.

Girlsseldom dissapear from my life unless I want them to but I understand the last thijng her new man wants is her hanging out with farang men because... let's face it.... This is a city where friendship seems to mean something different to friendship........ from time to time of course 8)

As for ex-lovers dissapearing, well, if they want to dissapear then that's ok.I am sure their new men don't want them hanging with ex-lovers

Hate to say this but I quite agree, one case a friend of mine, we hang out sometimes, went to see movies, had dinner/lunch/ coffee for a while, then he just disappeared, I sent SMS no reply, I called him, no answer then I started worried what happened to him...

I log on FB, saw him online, so I asked if he was ok... he said he got GF, and he didn't wanna meet me anymore cuz it was tempting to be with me... errrrrrr well, ok.

suck excuse...

Please allow to help.

"that excuse sucks"

If you say 'suck excuse' it sounds like to are trying to find an excuse to physically suck something, which could give people the wrong idea.

EG.

"He said ' I have a gf now so I can't see you anymore'

So you think "suck excuse" and promply drop to your knees saying "That's just the excuse I need to start sucking"

Not to put you down, simply so you don't use that with the wrong people

In the beginning I met my friends average once a week but we did talk on the phone and msn chat, later after the first year I met my friends more often ka

I do understand why would men friends are vanished sometimes because to understand girls is way harder and complicated I think thats the reason why they have to choose their GF's over their friends but I dont think they are happy to do that because friend is always friend nothing more but the problem is "will girls understand the definition of friend or not? and what's definition of friend for him?"

Look stay friends takes time...

takes effort...

some people cannot manage everything they want to keep up with in their life...but to dump your friends because of a clingy b/f or g/f--well that is being lazy or whimpy... your "partner" should recognize that friendships added strenghth to a person AND they might gian something too by becoming friends to a whole new circle.... bottom line if your friend is drifting away gentlely but pointedly call their attention to it...

Friend are allowed to correct each other...

For the girls, you will let your BFs contact with the other girls? or they need your permission to do so.

It's all about trust and respect....

I have no problem with my bf seeing his girl friends...not until there's a trend that they gonna meet up for sex, then it might turns me to a b*tch.

agree na...

My Thai guy friend, he also my classmate, his ex was nothing but annoying.

When they were together, she just like to keep him with her only, and got mad everytime that he was with me just for working on our project, sometime I stayed over night at his office... she was totally mad..

I said, "I met him before you did, if he want to be my BF he would, but he wouldn't... and I don't have that kinda feeling with him at all, so why don't you trust him? he is really nice and honest man who not play around" but they broke up anyway.. hrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ummmm . . . I gotta call you on this one. You spend the night at his office after working late? Hmmmm . . . I'm suspecting that 99.9999999999% of Thai women would not be okay with that. Wait, not just Thai women, but nearly any woman. Thai just makes it worse because many already have a built in jealousy gene.

I agree with Rob that relationships are about support and not control. I also get pissed off when a friend goes off the radar for weeks or months at a time the moment he gets a girlfriend. But at the same time, even I would have a problem if my gf was letting guys sleep in her office.

?

He doesnt has to ask my permission to contact any of his female friends but not all time busy contacting with them. I find man who has/being around with too many female friends annoying and unattractive.

For activities with female friend, I would like to consider event by event

When my best friend and I were in the same country and when we both were single and used to party til dawn, our friendship was great and wonderful. I called him 'darling' just for some fun. But whenever one of us started dating, boundaries were set not because we didn't love each other anymore but we even understood that one day the gf/bf might walk away and friends stay. And it's not about how jealous Thai girls are cuz it wouldn't please any girls if they knew I used to call him 'darling'. Whenever he had a partner, I got to see him less and less but that was ok to me. Being there for him when he's happy is great but being there when no one is there for him is greater.

And I did the same thing to him, too. (I still do anyway...though we live in different countries...we used to talk alot...I called him once a week or more..to once a month...to chat almost everyday...to about once a week..and now...about once or twice a month ..sometimes I chat to his gf more)

Because we do have a very solid platonic relationship. But more than that when you are friends with an opposite sex, you should learn what is appropriate and what's not too. Doesn't matter how solid your friendship is or how much you love each other or even if you are like twins from another mother. Boundaries and appropriation need to be created in order to survive both friendship and relationship.

I might be wrong...but I'm one of those who need time alone with my partner and then time alone with friends without my partner. Because I believe that my partner needs to get the best of me so as my friends.

My English is perfect. The non-natives seemed to have no problem, perhaps it is you.

'That excuse sucks' is clearly that correct way to say it and suck excuse can easily be made in to an excuse for sucking nand is clearly wrong. understood but wrong. Like yesterday I go to shopping. Understood but wrong.

Like my ex used to look for diet-excuses.

An excuse to diet.
