xochoa
Hi All, I'm new at the forum, and my interest to join here, despite what could I do here later, is to ask you a favor, I'm wanting so bad a Thai fisherman pants, but they are so expensive over the internet, about 17 - 25 or even 40 dlls, I'm not able to expense that money right now. So my question is, if any of you could be the nicest people in the world and send me 2 of those pants, I'll pay all the expenses. Also if you are interested in something from here in México I can send that to you, all should be legal of course I'm not sure if this is a good way to start my forum life here Best regards from México, -Alberto
English_Bob
I might be able to help. Let me think of something I want from Mexico. Maybe some hot sauce? What about Mexican music (modern, not traditional)? Any ideas?

admin
Just curious why you don't get them done in Mexico. It's not like the material is Thai specific. It's simply linen. You could probably go to any tailor and get the pants custom made for less than the prices that you're quoting. BTW, EB is probably serious. He has a Mexican restaurant here in Bangkok. It's tough getting authentic Mexican anything here.

Get a local dressmaker makes them for you, it's very easy, any idiot can do. Here is the pattern. You could use linen or cotton. As I remember cotton/linen in Mexico is almost the same price as Thailand.

English_Bob
AKA-----> no competition --- whatch out when Chalupa comes to town with all you cab drink Thursdays !!! I don't know why this is an issue for you, but there are at least NINE other Mexican restaurants in Bangkok. Mine is 19 years old and the most successful and profitable. Have you actually been there? All you cab [sic] drink Thursdays? (sigh) I have the occasional customer who wants a promotion like that. I always find they are exactly the kind of customer I DON'T want in my restaurant. Back on topic - I am beginning to think this OP was a troll. I mean 'fisherman pants' must be about the easiest pants in the world to make. And then not a single response to offers of help.
