funky_house
How much do you pay your Thai Housekeeper /Cleaner? By the hour? Per visit? Per week? Size of apartment? Is there an average going rate? I have a queue of people offering to clean for me, but their prices range from THB120 per visit, including cleaning materials (one lady), to THB500 each (two ladies), for two hours, cleaning materials to be provided by me. English_Bob
In my serviced apartment, I pay 900 baht a month. I get two cleaners, once a week. They clean mirrors, windows, floors, bathroom fittings, shelves and change the bedsheets. No happy endings.

funky_house
but 200 per day for thai maid , but if i refer that u r farng may be she will charge more lol Well I expect to pay a bit more as my place is fairly big, but the last two cleaners I used charged 500 each for the two, to two and half hours they were there. That was the most expensive of all the offers I have had.

Teila
Don't have one in BKK (I'm moving at the end of next week & will get one for the new place) but My Uncle has one at the house in Angthong. No idea how much he pays her but he had a few different ones before the woman now (they would steal the jewellery - my Uncle's wife caught two of them selling it at the big local market. dumb. lol) & since everyone really liked, got on well with this one (& she's honest) he built her a house & bought her a motorbike on top of her salary & she's stayed the longest out of them all (10 years & counting) she's practically like family. funky_house
did include 1 or 2 BJs ???? No BJ's. Just the cleaning. They came recommended by someone, but as I said were the most expensive of the lot.
Admin_2
Also, don't forget to leave a few hundred baht lying around in a semi-obvious place. If they are the stealing type, make sure to get rid of them as soon as possible.
kaunitz
Well I expect to pay a bit more as my place is fairly big, but the last two cleaners I used charged 500 each for the two, to two and half hours they were there. That was the most expensive of all the offers I have had. Which would make 100/hour. That's ridiculous as a Thai teacher for foreigners gets about 180. Is the such a small difference between easy, unskilled manual labour and transferring knowledge after achieving an MA?
