Hello folks, just thought i would start a thread on tattoos, Do you think they indicate somebodies character or are they just being fashionable? Are they sexy or ugly? i personally donot have any tattoos and for a while i really thought about getting one but im glad i took my time as i went off the idea and kept myself plain. Does anybody regret them? Or happy with them, tell me your thoughts!!

mmmn what does that say about you?, all 3 of your tattoos are of animal like creatures that you wouldnt want to meet on a dark night, hehe, Cool though, slightly off topic but have you seen those huge predators at JJ market made of scrap pieces of metal, they are awesome!!

I was just about to get my self inked, with a self-designed motive (based on an acient Norse rune), when I found out it was used as a logo by a bunch of political nutters here in Norway... Bummer...

So my skin is still untouched..

Tatoos on girls can be very sexy, but I prefer unique l ones, something with a meaning to the owner...

Tattoos can be very sexy.

I know one girl, she tattood the first letter of her BF's Name in her neck, like 6 cm big. Of course she broke up with him and had to hide that with her long black hair.

I can imagine that when making love to that girl it would turn a guy on to just bite that tattoo and suck her neck mak maak

but, for my wife i would not like to see her have a tattoo in a place that anyone can see.

yeah tattoos can be sexy for some persons and for the others can totally make them unsexy. of course its subjective.

there are two guys i find really sexy having tattoos

- brandon boyd from incubus - definitely love his artwork.

I have a few tatoo's but they are about things in my life. I always get something that means something to me not a random image in the tatoo shop. I am having a cross but on my leg next with my mom and dads names on it; a kinda tribute to them that will be with me forever. I anyone does decide to get one, make sure its for the right reason not just because of peer pressure.

I had 3 more hours of tattoo today to my left sleeve. Im having Japanese sleeves done and much of the work covers a lot of old tatts that have faded. I always wanted to make a personal statement with my own tattoo work and as such have quite a few. My advice would be to seek out a good artist and dont be pressured because your mates have them.

Do some research..different artists do different things well. Dont be tempted to choose one artist over another simply because they are cheaper..you might regret it. A decent artist will have a reputation and as such usually a waiting list or appointment book. Check it out.

I got divorced recently and as a closure to that decided to have a 'klute' tattoo on my left chest with my sons name in Thai under it. Its special to me and still needs finishing in Thailand in April.

Bottom line..if you are not sure dont do it. Some employers dont like them either.

Personally..for Thai women..I think skin as good as that should be left alone but if you insist then something discreet and meaningful is the way to go. Dont get carried away.

Vindy..
