I walked to the Aree BTS station and as I was waiting for the train I noticed this girl. She was absolutely stunning and my definition of a perfect 10 (physically). Now, my definition of a 10 is not Miss Thailand, just someone who fits every possible definition I have of my own vision of perfection. The train arrived and wasn't crowded and I got a seat opposite her. She was standing at the doorway looking outside. The more I looked, the more I was convinced that this was the absolute Thai girl of my dreams! One side of my brain said, "Do it! Go say something to her!" and the other side of my brain said, "Cool it, just be polite and don't do anything." To make a long story short, she got off at the Ratchataewee station. I did nothing, said nothing, just sat politely. During the entire train ride she looked out the window and we never had eye contact. I have never seen her since. I've thought a lot about what happened and why I didn't just go up to her and say something. I speak Thai so that's not the problem. It's just modesty, I guess. But the other side of my brain then - and now - said "What have you got to lose?" (äÃèÃÕÃÃäèÃà ÊÕÂ). Yeah, what did I have to lose? Why didn't I take a chance and go say hi on the chance that she might possibly like me? I think I will always wonder about that and I will never know unless I see her again at Aree or Ratchataewee. The only way of guaranteeing a "NO" is to do nothing and not ask. As you say, what have you got to lose... nothing. She just boarded the train and looked out the window. So while I'm looking at the most perfect girl I've ever seen, she doesn't know I exist I think. Come on... if u did what u should have done this forumpost would have been different. BTW... knowing pasa thai helps...but i dont beleive its a necessity in this case. Better to stay cool ... maybe someday u would meet her again and it's HER to go to say someting to u :wink: ...so GOOD LUCK jaaa!! This is gonna sound freaky but I think I may have spotted her, this morning (after I wrote this forum message) and right here in TF! No no no no no I'm not gonna say who it is publicly. But I'm dead serious that I think maybe it's her! How's that for fate???!!! And chances are that she's gonna look at my profile and throw up! hahahaha Well, it could get interesting, huh? Still, if you really wanted to make a move, you could have gotten off the train and asked her for directions to someplace, or if she could recommend some place to eat in the area. After you get your answer, compliment her on her outfit and ask her if she works in the neighborhood. What does she do? If she's interested in talking to you, now you've got a conversation going. If she's not, you'll know pretty quickly. If she doesn't, say thanks and you're on you way with no great public humiliation. A bruise to the ego, yeah I guess. But you can also congratulate yourself for trying. Of course, this advice is coming from someonw who is still single, so what do I know? lol Good luck. I agree with you that it might be cool to do that, if you have the courage and something clever to say. So okay, let's say I'm a cute guy on the BTS and you see me and wish that I would approach you and say something. What would impress you? What could a guy say that would be really cool? That person might get off at the next stop, so you have 60 seconds to make a good impression! Believe me I've thought about this a lot, and I just don't know! LOL Jane I will remember that! your are funny as always I think a lot of very beautiful girls really have this problem daily. Thats why they cant send out any signals just looking away all the time. I had a girlfriend that couldnt go from her work daily without 2-3 guys always come up and start talking to her in the metro and wanted her number. So this was always a topic to discuss and laughing at when we meet. But she was a very exitic girl from Equador living in Sweden. And the Swedish guys love this kind of farang girls. Guys even come up when you sitting with her in a restaurant to give her compliments :roll: crazy! same as window shopping..keep looking and those stuff will always nice and beautiful..once you buy them and start using them..they starts to get old and u woouldnt like them as much as b4. I always have this strange feeling somebody is watching you as there is nothing else to do in the train. The best might have been to get out at the same station and chat her for a nite out...
