LakeGeneve
I'll make the observation that no one has seemingly yet criticised nor condemned the red shirts for engaging in their democractic rights to break the law in blockading parliament and obstructing roads which would be the consistent stance given the previous comments in relation to the PAD for exactly the same tactics. Why is that? if i recall, most of the harsh criticisms of the yellow clapper clowns were a result of their seizing the airport, not a result of their occupying gov't house. the red clapper clowns haven't done anything like that yet. Your n ot recalling well then my friend but that is understandable given the wealth of activities and duration of the PAD protests. Check out the Trouble IN Thailand thread just prior and post 7 Oct - I think you'll even find some posts from yourself. The govt is looking for a venue to give deliver the policspeech; PM, Democrats leave Army Club The Nation breaking newsAt 9: 20 am Tuesday, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and Democrat Party MPs left the Army Club after staying there for 40 minutes. Abhisit told reporters he was heading to make a policy statement delivery but he did not say where the policy debate would take place. Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said reporters would know about the venue soon. Any suggestions? Paragon, RCA, Klong toey markets, Mo Chit Bus station? (Actually, the Foreign Ministry but one of the above would have been more interesting).

beej
As per usual, this thread is turning into something which was NOT the op's intention..Anymore personal attacks on this thread, will be dealt with by the way of cards, regardless who is posting, ok kiddies?... Actually, it seems to be a thread started by me...... there is nothing more I like than a thread full of non related bullshit and sh*t slinging. ...... is that ok, or do we all have to wipe our feet and hug? We are here to have a laugh, have a chuckle, take the piss a bit and talk about all things Thai related. Only TODAY, have I had members privately ask me why the threads turn to free-for-alls. How they post threads and after a page it's just trash talk and resembles nothing they posted about. One member even publicly pleaded with you guys to stay on topic so they could get answers to what they wanted. TF is not just the farang-few show. There are now members who don't like to post because they are scared of being flamed. When I get messages like this I have to act. There is a place in TF for everyone, I know we like to argue on here, so do I but when you have page upon page of who's got the bigger d*ck, it gets boring pretty quick. Now, let's all hold hands and sing after 3...1,2,3...Michael row the boat ashore, allejuiah. Michael row the boat ashore, alle-juuuuuuuuuuuiah.... I asked about this when I first logged on. The mods let some folks get away with anything and yellow card others for relatively nothing. So said screw it. Apparently, no one here wants a real discussion. It's all a big fraternity roast. I can play that game with the best of them or have a real discussion. PiAnt was a prime example of this. This guy actually complained when there were too many "normal" conversations occurring. He'd let some attack and threaten to give yellowcards to others. There are posters on here whose only desire is to attack folks. But you guys let them roll about with impunity. You guys are entirely uneven. There is absolutely no standard. Especially, if the guy who is constantly offending everyone is "a good guy" offline. Then it's ok for him to call every and anyone a f-in cnut, wanker, nonce, etc. Until you crack down on those primary offenders, you're efforts are wasted. Not that it really matters. It seems that most business takes place outside the forums at any rate. lol If you want to sit around and talk straight laced political crap, moan and groan, and keep it serious, I suggest go to www.thaivisa.com and bore your little Yankee titties off. THAT is what happens when no ones allowed to take the piss and have a good laugh at each other expense, go on go take a look over there. Now how mad ******* boring is that, just the same old drone day in day out mr expat moaning about the grayest subject matters known to man. I'm not sorry if I offend anyone, as anyone I'm offending generally deserves it for posting hog wash, if no ones allowed to take the piss or be a bit rude then people will end up believing the crap that these people are saying. Listen to mr army man up there ''cracking down on primary offenders'' man you sound like some shirt wearing law enforcement git wanting to paint the world gray. Offenders make **** fun, you know that, I know that, everyone knows that.

Personally, I don't care how they run this joint. I'm merely speaking to the query of dannyboy. I can play either game. If they want it to become a more "respectable" and more inclusive set of forums, then guys like you have to be reigned in or gone. If the mods are happy with the way it is, then they let guys like you who have nothing real to say attack attack attack. As for me, you are a naught but a harmless little twit. Most of your jibes reveal more about you than the person whom you attack. I've never seen anyone so obsessed with other men (pot bellied 50 year olds and English teachers) and their sexual habits in my life. It's almost enough to make one think that one of those English Teachers/pot bellied 50 year old men stole your gal once (or twice) and you hold a universal grudge against them all. lol that is f*cked up! Dead on though, you have his number!

As ever you get all high and mighty with the same old ''your interested in pot bellied 50 year old men and English teacher'' jibes with your little blinkers on again, I can only for the life of me remember a couple of digs a made quite a while ago at 50 year old pot bellied men I'm glad you remember that far back...........................wait, I think back then it was around the time all I had to listen to from you was ''I'm not here for the *****'', ''I'm not looking for a woman'' blah blah blah, now your running around like a dog with 40 dicks. beej
So they turned away from any kind of clash with protesters and everything took place at the Foreign Ministry. So its all done and dusted, do the UDD stand back now or do they go on the rampage and cause havoc? I doubt they will cause trouble over the New Year period, its a PR dog **** to step in, but you never know!!! Policy delivery takes place at By: BangkokPost.com Published: 30/12/2008 at 10:22 AM Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and cabinet members decided to deliver the policy statement to parliament at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After leaving the Democrat party head office on Tuesday morning, the premier and entourage travelled to the Army Club in preparation to enter the parliament building. They left the Army Club via a parade of vans at 9.20am but changed their destination to the Foreign Affairs Ministry. Mr Abhisit and his cabinet decided to use the Foreign Ministry to deliver the policy statement to the parliament, as police failed to drive out many United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) protesters who were rallying in front of the parliament. beej
A good friend of mine left Bangkok today and said police have closed off 3 of the 4 lanes leaving Bangkok going North. Its created long tail backs and he's not sure whats up. Maybe just police blocking more protesters coming to Bangkok in buses?
Michel_TinGtoNg
Though the red shirts are always considered to be the less educated people of the north who are not able to vote the right party and so shouldnt be allowed to vote at all...or something like that... up to what i saw on tv during the last months they seem to be a lot more civilized than the so-called well-educated pad-supporters.
