Does anyone in Thailand know why we celebrate Halloween or is it just an excuse to dress as a woman and get drunk? Halloween originated in Ireland, the Festival of Halloween is a celebration of the end of the fertile period of the Celtic Goddess Eiseria. How it has reached Thailand i'll never know. It's mainly celebrated in the UK, Ireland and the USA.

But what the hell. If it gives everyone the opportunity to dress up, get drunk and ruck i'm all for it. Being a Mancunian Celt i'm mad fer it.

all I can say is ****, a heavy load of **** every three hours, hehe. Nice picture, but in every day life it must be horror to handle such a sixpack of pumpkins.

Actually . . . (I think) . . . Halloween has more has more to do with religious holiday than any fertile periods . .lol In the USA anyway . . . Halloween is All Souls Day while Nov 1, I believe is All Saints Day (which gets almost no recognition at all ). My recolection makes me believe that the US version has more to do with what happened in Salem, Massachusetts, back when Relgious Leaders were on witch hunts and accusing many of the women of being witches and burning them at the stake. Yes . . . this is actually true. Witches are believe to live there still . . . O-O
