Indian restaurants are really taking the piss here at the moment, we went to one just off Soi convent, its looks pretty tacky but the food was good.

400 baht service charge, hahaha no wonder your waitress was a fatty!

not crowded... about 8 -10 tables when i was there... or half of tables served... mostly i saw foreigners or Thais bring foreigners to entertain here... because of good decoration and atmosphere...

i went there in Friday evening... i think it is the most crowded day of the week...

Face is a nice place, the bar and the Thai restaurant there are great. The Indian restaurant is below average and overpriced.

AAum: soi Nana is suk soi 4, are you talking about soi 3 or soi4? There are Indian restaurants in both sois (of course).

Face bar used to be OK but last time i went there they wanted 400 baht for a pint of Heineken. a) what's the point of importing Heineken, and what sort of pretentious bellend expects 400 baht for it?? they used to have Hoegaarden, about the same price.

Hell, that is 100 ? for two persons. I still can have a more than decent dinner over here for four persons at my favourite Thai restaurant for 100 ?. Although I like Tandoori food from time to time I dislike those indians arrogant attitude. I know why I havent been eating indian food in Thailand for seven or eight years..it hasnt become better.

Even the nicest atmosphere doesnt make it when you get that being-ripped-off-feeling..
