After i photographed a few cities, beaches and temples in Thailand, i became a bored quite quickly. Now i realised how much i miss photographing around Britain. You can shoot the same place but in four different seasons and everything changes.

funky_house : Roman Baths charges too much for ticket, 14.50 pounds to go to The Roman Baths and Fashion Museum . Its mentioned in The Dutchess Movie as well. I only go inside use their toilet lol. Actually It is on the front of The Abbey :)

si6 : I still not use to drink from the taps in England though lol

Bath is great place to visit for two or three days. There's the city to look around, and not far away is the village of Cheddar, famous for cheese and it's interesting caves, more caves at Wookey Hole, and a huge old Cathedral at Wells. Also not far from Glastonbury.

I think Stone Henge is a rip off. English Heritage charge you more than 4 pounds to stand in a field and look at it. It's not as though they build the damn thing, it doesn't need any maintaineance, and there aren't really any facilities there.

Neutron : You know some place i have been visited in UK. I feel lost my money for nothing as well. We paid more than 10 pounds each for Stonehenge but after we got to the history and pictures showed damaged those yippies have done with it before English Heritage look after it, compare with how looks of it now, make me feel better and willing to pay for.

Very, very nice!

I've yet to get out to Bath and Oxford - maybe my next trip. (I never seem to get away from my favorite pubs in Paddington...)

Thank you for sharing these - I love European architecture.

no pics of the baths in Bath?? You can't have missed them!!!

The thing with Stonehenge is that much of what they tell you is its history is guesswork; theories are constantly being updated as to its purpose when built. Personally I far prefer the Avebury circle to Stonehenge.

glad you enjoyed your trip - next time get your bf to bring you North to God's own country!!!
