I remember Sam Adams making a really strong millenium beer...though I don't think it's the strongest one ever.

The strange part for me is, at least in America, beer is no longer beer after something like 5%. After that it's called Malt Liquor and has to be sold as such for tax purposes.

indeed, before I thought that till 15% alcohol is was beer, from 15 till 25% it was wine , and after that it was brandy, rum or whisky .

Geee, I think Red Horse is from the Philippines. The beer with a kick that's what we called it back home.

AFter 10 % it taste like sh*t .......

indeed, the scots took first place from their german competitor Schorschbraeu. Their brewmaster and former record holder expressed doubts, as the scottish product is probably stored in former whisky barrels which add an extra amount of alcohol to the beer.

The small german company from Bavaria, specialised in strong beer, will soon bring out their new product - 45 % to take over their leading position again.

after 7% it tastes like crap

we have some Belgian beers at 12% and they are very drinkable ...

i'm quite happy with anything around 5-6% !!!

during the commonwealth games in australia in 1982, castlemaine (makers of XXXX) made a "games special" beer that was about 20%. rocket fuel but it was very tasty

In SEA I'd have to say "Myanmar Beer, blue label" 12% - 15%, as opposed to red label at 8% - 10%. Real good beer too taste wise. Award winning beer.

vodka ja but its not beer tho..lol..

vodka its ethanol + water ( ratio in % 50/50 or more ethanol) It`s like aircraft fuel...
