Id love to know what Capello sees in Heskey and what he expects from him, because they guy simply cant do it.............hes only scored 5 goals in over 50 games for England, hes hardly the man to save them when the chips are down. At least Crouch is capable of causing a bit of chaos for defenders of nothing else.................. anyway.............I gotta feeling!! But on the other hand everybody will agree that the the german performance was as good as vs. Australia. My heart was beating fast during the match and I think that we have seen another historical great piece of football. It was a very fair match. Congratulations to England. Damnam1 Posted June 27, 2010 Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 England has not deserved your harsh crtiicism. In my eyes the Premier league fools us, as there are too many foreign players. Alas the quality of the national team goes down and makes us believe that english football is worlds best.. I miss the young players and there are quite a few on the island. It takes a coach who creates a team of young and hungry players, singing the anthem with pride, being aware they are not playing for their own good, but for all the people back home. I well remember the bloody times between 1994 and 2002, when our team stumbled into the finals with all typical qualities. All the so called established and saturated oldies should have been left home. Again, I am pretty sure that England will be back in 2014 playing on way better level. And I am very sorry, again, that the referee has made such an embarassing decision. Any old fashioned english gentleman would have saved the ball behind the line just to show the referee that it had been a goal. I have the deepest repect towards England. All I am hoping for the future is that we may continue playing football in a respectful way and thus display the press to leave away the war themes because that is history and gone.
