My English is perfect. The non-natives seemed to have no problem, perhaps it is you.

'That excuse sucks' is clearly that correct way to say it and suck excuse can easily be made in to an excuse for sucking nand is clearly wrong. understood but wrong. Like yesterday I go to shopping. Understood but wrong.

Like my ex used to look for diet-excuses.

An excuse to diet.

sorry dude ... couldn't help myself !!!!!!! :D:D:D

agree na...

My Thai guy friend, he also my classmate, his ex was nothing but annoying.

When they were together, she just like to keep him with her only, and got mad everytime that he was with me just for working on our project, sometime I stayed over night at his office... she was totally mad..

I said, "I met him before you did, if he want to be my BF he would, but he wouldn't... and I don't have that kinda feeling with him at all, so why don't you trust him? he is really nice and honest man who not play around" but they broke up anyway.. hrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ummmm . . . I gotta call you on this one. You spend the night at his office after working late? Hmmmm . . . I'm suspecting that 99.9999999999% of Thai women would not be okay with that. Wait, not just Thai women, but nearly any woman. Thai just makes it worse because many already have a built in jealousy gene.

I agree with Rob that relationships are about support and not control. I also get pissed off when a friend goes off the radar for weeks or months at a time the moment he gets a girlfriend. But at the same time, even I would have a problem if my gf was letting guys sleep in her office.

Hmm ok I didn't give detail on this sorry...

My friend and I studied master's degree together, and it was extra project.

Which mean it was evening, saturday and sunday class which make for students who have full time job already...

I work from 7 am - 4.30 pm. then ran to the class for 3 - 4 days on week days.. start at 6 pm til 8 or 9 pm. we studied 5 or 6 subjects a week and every subjects has assignment. and our class has only 19 students.

So, mostly, we pair up and work together, where should we work after class, the best place is his office which wasn't far from our uni.

I might use wrong word "stay over night" "we work over night" that might be the right one. I don't like to stay overnight at my friends' places or their offices, I like to lay down on my own bed... If I had chance to go home I'd do... Sometimes, we stayed until 3 am. and said "let's go home" I miss my bed. Slept 1 hr then went to work.

Actually, at first days, his GF came to his office, but when the time passed by and she got really bored cuz there were nothing just looked us working. So she just wanted to go home of course with my friend. I didn't mind, I quite understand, but when the deal date had come, mean we had to finish over projects, just got them done..She must understanding was the priority I think.

Atleast that was his future... our grade couldn't be lower than B.

EG ....... What is EG ????

You mean .....

Ex: = Example

e.g. It's an abbreviation for the Latin phrase exempli gratia.

EX ......... What is EX ????

its when people get their English from internet, trash magazines and comics, rather than reading and studying quality literature.

nah, comics and trash magazines don't use that horseshit, and are typically written by professionals.

it's probably bestowed upon us by the same MBAs who decided "proactive" should be a word. literacy is not part of most MBA programs, even good ones.

he said he got GF, and he didn't wanna meet me anymore cuz it was tempting to be with me... errrrrrr well, ok.

suck excuse...

Please allow to help.

"that excuse sucks"

If you say 'suck excuse' it sounds like to are trying to find an excuse to physically suck something, which could give people the wrong idea.

EG.

"He said ' I have a gf now so I can't see you anymore'

So you think "suck excuse" and promply drop to your knees saying "That's just the excuse I need to start sucking"

Not to put you down, simply so you don't use that with the wrong people

Ahhhh ....... Hellooooooo !!!!!!

Not sure where you learned your english but I understood what AAA meant.

The problem is I didn't understand your explaination at all ????????

EG ....... What is EG ????

Example

noun

1 a thing characteristic of its kind or illustrating a general rule : it's a good example of how European action can produce results | some of these carpets are among the finest examples of the period. See note at model .

• a printed or written problem or exercise designed to illustrate a rule.

2 a person or thing regarded in terms of their fitness to be imitated or the likelihood of their being imitated : it is vitally important that parents should set an example | she followed her brother's example and deserted her family.

PHRASES

for example she's met several Hall of Famers—for example, Brooks Robinson and Johnny Mize for instance, e.g., by way of illustration, such as, as, like; in particular, case in point, namely, viz., to wit.

For example = e.g. is correct English... NOT - EX.

Typos are my errors for sure. Stoned posting.

But back to the original point ajarn.

That excuse sucks, or suck excuse. Which is correct?

Suck examples or your examples suck?

I know which one would be thought of as being correct.

Now get on your knees and give me a suck apology
