Who am I to judge? Well I am a pretty big consumer of these forums. I find it tedious when every comment turns into anal sex, lesbian sex, dildos, bondage etc .

And do you think I judge too quickly? How many months have you been posting this stuff before I made a comment?

Continue, by all means. But reading other member's comments suggests I'm not the only person who's bored of it all.

You don't have to use the forums to show how good you are - but if you want to show only one aspect of your personality, expect some criticism -Your comments are immature.

One thing you should learn is a joke is funny when the time and place is right. You've been posting the same joke for several months - it stopped being funny a long time ago. It means that every forum loses its theme and becomes a list of rude, unfunny words.

Now this began as a gentle hint, you've reacted as I expected you would (but hoped you wouldn't). You had the chance to say "Yeah OK... I have been writing a lot of that stuff." or you could act like a big kid and say "It's not me, it's you. You're the bad guy."

After your first 'smart' post I was hoping for a mature answer. But after months of teenage innuendo I'm not surprised you chose the latter.

I go back and read many comments that Ive made on the forum.

There were alot of them that I actaully expressed my opinions without making any jokes or any silly comments.

Many of my comments that you said ..

"it stopped being funny a long time ago. It means that every forum loses its theme and becomes a list of rude, unfunny words."

Wo wo wo.. many of my rude, unfunny words mostly there to reply Kunny or other members when it goes that way.

And "reading other member's comments suggests I'm not the only person who's bored of it all. "

I didnt noticed that that others members also feel that way, As I can notice is SB and Teddy who agree with you there in this topic.

I also got many nice feedback from other members for what I have been post.

So.. now I lost my chance to say "Yeah OK... I have been writing a lot of that stuff." ?

So that is what you expected me to react?

"Hey SoBeIt, I think you make too much jokes around and it makes the threads go down the same route after only a couple of pages. Is it possible that you less your degree down a little bit?"

Instead of..

I treat ppl the same way they treat me.

It isnt that hard to be polite, is it?

What's the point of caring in what others think about ya. These people have absolutely no control over yr life none whatsoever. Their not paying all of yr bills for ya putting money in yr pocket, or paying for roof over yr head so I say to hell with them. There will always be somebody who doesn't like ya or yr comments no matter what. That's life.

(Actually I posted something similar in the "What irks you" forum without naming names, but you didn't understand I meant you.... and I'm glad you mentioned Kunny, because it was directed at her too.

That's why you win because, honestly, i do not want to waste another breath on this issue since someone else has spoken for me. I appreciate and thanks English_bob for pointing that out. Kudos to him. I only feel resentful for other members who put their invaluable intelligent substantial thoughtfulness into their forum posts. That's all. OK...

I learnt my Thai like this...

1) Studied speaking and reading by myself for a few months when I arrived in Thailand.

2) Lived in Hat Yai where few people spoke English. I picked up quite a lot.

3) Lived in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Phuket and learnt bits and pieces. Usually from my staff... also tried a few schools and teachers without success.

4) Took properly structured lessons at AAA school (Thanks Condotown for the recommendation)... finally started understanding the writing much more and signed up for a further 3 courses last month.

I will continue to study as long as I can - my ultimate goal is to pick up a newspaper and read how Thais feel about things. I want to read letters from Thai readers.
