Riding in Bangkok!!!

I'm sure some of you know that I have this:

But, I almost exclusively use one of these:

Yamaha+Mio+ZR+new+scooter+high+price.png

(Exactly like this one. Reg A Quarter to 7 if you see me let on.)

To get to work and back and around the city. To be honest, it makes getting about a breeze. Running and maintenance costs are pennies and a small fraction of what a big bike costs.

Apart from the near death experiences, I love riding around Bangkok.

I am definitely in. I think this is an awesome idea...just need to square away a few things. Only thing I see as a potential problem is being called out for work. I don't have a sched for next month yet.

But I am not going anywhere until someone tells me what color shirt to wear...cuz I want it to match my helmet.

My only offense shirt says in thai that I dont want a massage, suit or tuk tuk. I need a farang kee nok one. So wear WHITE LOL

Are there any more members who would like to go but either can't ride or don't have a bike (yet)?

And would anyone already signed up object to making it the 16th May cos someone who wants to go can't on the 9th?

Ciaran why haven't you signed up?

Dr8 don't you have a bike? Not fancy going?

Come on give you a chance to try and kick me off my bike naaaa :P

YC seems to have a spare seat as do I and maybe Bkk_Me?

If someone would like to go, but doesn't have a bike, can ride and does have a licence, they can use my bike and I'll take my spare.

It's just a name bro... been riding a lot for 6 years in BKK and upcountry, never crashed a bike or car yet. Kus is saaaafe.... :lol:

Take an afternoon off and get a motorbike taxi to take you round the shops.

You can find something very nice and easy to use for about 25000.

I really like to join this event but who would be willing to take me? :roll:

I can drive but its been a while I'm not doing it due to couple of crashes I've been since then I'm just enjoying the seat back of the driver.

Btw, this afternoon I saw a group driving big bikes in Khao Yai what a good sight!

Dude...I am just kidding.

When I find a way to get my GSXR here..you can show me the nice roads upcountry where i can let'r loose. Until then, I am just going to get a little scooter for around the neighborhood
