where are the dance floors i dont see them here , they dont exist in any Thai club or most of the expat Bangkok clubs if i exclude (Bed and QBar and club culture) do they exist here ????

you will be very disappointed with most clubs here , Thai are horrible dancers

no fun over here , no hunting over the dance floor as it does exist in other countries.

just sitting around circle tables watching each other , what a pathetic nightlife over here, I gave up the nightlife compeltly here , thanks god I have found the salsa events in the hotels over here to be great for those who enjoy dancing

Wow... The "anti-thai" has returned! Aren't YOU Johnny Sunbeam...? I'll take the BigKus role again... If you don't like Thailand, go back to your home country where I'm SURE you're very highly appreciated.

Oh come on BK... I was doing you a favor here. I found a farang who REALLY doesn't like Thailand and saved you the effort of telling him to leave. And for once, it would be a farang who deserved it!

  • 3 weeks later...
not looking for the salsa stuff .. that's beyond me

No need to mutate to the hottest latin lover within 2 weeks. Salsa, merengue, bachata etc can just be a pleasant and easy way to relax the hips and make them swing (that's where the energy comes from) and get lust for more. All latin stuff is great to prepare your hips, feet, the whole body and the mind for freestyle dancing.

If you don't wanna look like a slowpoke, salsa is perfect to get prepared and make a deep impression to the chicas! :-) Salsa fits to everything. Here's Orishas --> a cool mix of salsa and hip hop

Oh, did I mention my soft spot for salsa yet? :-)

I happen to be quite a good dancer, this wasn't always true, I mean we used to learn dancing in school for about one month every year, and we had a lot of dances I always went to, but I used to be too self concious.

I had a girl I was with in India one time teach me how to do it.

All she said was "Close your eyes, ignore everyone else, listen to the music and move around to the rythum"

If there is more than one rythum you can just pick one or as you get better you can do one with your hands and one with your feet, this is kind of like rubbing your belly and patting your head at the same time, can you do that? Oh yeah try not to bounce up and down too much.

Dont move to fast, or too much and try to keep you hand above your hips. Thats about all there is to it.

Oh yeah if there is a girl involved, eye contact and hand holding once in a while is a good move. :D

If you dont really have a good understanding of music, or your uncoordinated, then like was said earlier smoke a big fattie or eat and E.
