The date: Sunday 3rd October.
The time: 08:30
The place: Charlie Brown's, Sukhumvit Soi 11.
The plan: Hire two minibuses, and depart from Charlie Brown's, Soi 11, (where we can stock up with ice, soft drinks etc.), around 8:30am. to Ayudthaya to see the sites, take photos, and  lunch in a nice restaurant by the river.
After lunch, more sightseeing.
There are admission fees to some temples: Approx 10 baht for Thais, 30 baht the rest of us.
As we are visiting some temples, please remember to dress appropriately.
Its meant to be a relaxing fun day. Nothing too rushed or strenuous. Bring your camera, sunhat, frisbee, or cooler box of beer. :-)
UPDATE No.1: Two minibuses reserved. Price for hire is THB1,800 per 24 hours, not including fuel or tolls. Therefore, I estimate that we are looking at around THB200-300 per person, depending on numbers. Kus has also asked them to provide a cooler box.
The following seem to be some of the "must sees" at Ayudthaya. Whether we will have enough time to see them all, I don't know.
In no particular order:
Wat Chaiwatthanaram, Wat Yaichaimongkhol, Wat Na Phra Main,Wat Mahathat, Wat Phanang Cheong, Wat Phrasisanpet, Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit, Wat Rachaburana, Pang Chang Elephant Kraal.
UPDATE No.2:  Please can you confirm by PM that you are coming on this trip?
Also, please note that we are now departing at 08:30 am.
Aomlovely has also posted a Journal with further info.
