I voted for #13, "Red Riding Hood (retired)."

Not only is it my favorite of this month's competition, it's one of my favorites among any of the previous months' entries as well. The colors and contrast are nice, and having the focus on two separate motives gives it dimensionality. It also fits the theme, in a field where some of the shots were a bit of a stretch.

Most of the entries have all or part of their EXIF data, which I enjoyed perusing. Two of the point-and-shoot shots are superb, while one of the DSLR shots left me wondering how the shooter f**ked it up so badly.

Really?

I though No. 13 lacked a lot...... it was too 1989 for me.

That's the beauty of photography! Very often it's a matter of "like" or "don't like" instead of "good" or "not good." Not always, though...

I went for #7, 12:45am, as the look on the womens face and the way her body is slumped over (exhaustion or despair?) conveys a strong deeling of loneliness and despair.

It has that tragic air of lost dreams as it seem to have been taken in a beach side touristy type area - Phuket or Cesspool City?

The happy snapper may answer that one later when all will be revealed.

... and Neo is ATC-MAN correct that your winning picture was taken where he said in Pattaya?
yeah looks like she's been dumped!!

or HE

I think RichGiRL was right about that.

Yes... Cesspool City (actually during Machabucha weekend with the bars shut)
#7

Outside SUBWAY, Tipp Plaza, near Mike Shopping Mall, Pattaya.

Taken from Beach Road.

That's my guess

I believe so.
