Bin Laden is Dead Poem...

SBS do kick ass out of the water too.

Whilst the unit specializes in water-borne activities, they are also highly skilled on dry land. Recent operations have taken place in the mountains of land-locked Afghanistan and deep in the deserts of Iraq. Previously known as the Special Boat Squadron and exclusively drawn from The Royal Marines, the SBS is now open to members of other regiments and services from throughout the UK military.

Personally i would have sent in MFI......They are some hard to deal with mutha fuc*ers!

Whats the MFI?

I was in SWCC, the other half of SEALs, we were trained for land warfare too, but rarely ever left our boats behind, we usually worked closely with the SEALs, SAS and other Special Units.

I am staggered by the news that Bin Laden was killed by US Seals.

After the tragic death of a trainer at Sea World last year, it's time we took the menace of sea mammals more seriously.

(sorry)

No worries EB, the only reason the world knows the US Navy SEALs and has no idea who the SAS or SBS are is because "Special Air (boat) Service" sounds like an airline (Ferry) for retards and/or handicapped people.

Were you SBS? Cause I'm pretty sure you mean SAS since the SBS is Special Boat Service.

Was I????? Hahahahahahaha. No.

You cant compare SAS with Seals - different specialities - equivalent of the Seals is the SBS and the SBS tend to be harder than the SAS, ergo also harder than the Seals.

The world has no idea who the SAS are? Sorry B, first **** you have talked in here!! SAS are the top force, and as mentioned the SBS tend to be their marine elite...

lol I'm not looking for fighting... Just give my opinion.

I'm not Bin Laden fan club, what he did was totally wrong.

but do you really think killing him America will safe forever? Killing him might start new war?

I heard from radio station this morning the Obama and Hillary watched the live Seals operating? Is it true.

If that, is it difference from watching execution without bringing him to the court. I know it sounds so naive...

A friend of mine post this comment on my FB wall "Suddam is USA mission, Gadhafi is USA mission and Bin Laden is USA mission,...the mission to bring prosperous for USA citizen and for the sake of USA citizen..eventually !!??"

American's war is wall of the world?

That is the problem. Nothing in this world is safe forever. I feel that the USA, and the rest of the world that has been targetted by Al Quiada will be safer in my lifetime because Bin Ladin was killed. It is not just the USA that has been attacked by Bin Ladin's organization. The bombings in Bali, and Jakarta are tied to elements of Al Quiada.

In the distance, and in the forever, I am sure someone will take his place, just as I'm sure someone will gain power in Thailand that is bad for the country again. There is nothing that lasts forever. There are only pauses in the violence. The killing of Bin Ladin could very well be the start of one of those pauses. It will not start a new war because the war was already going on, but it has the possibility of stopping that war.

In the same light, what will it take to end the war that is going on in the South of Thailand? How many more innocent people have to be killed before it ends?

Yes... but my post was just a REALLY bad joke about Seals and SEALS.... Not a dig at anyone.

But the REAL reason America doesn't have SAS and SBS is that these companies thrive on secrecy, and America would have a reality TV show about them withing 6 months - SAS Idol !!.... They'd have a camera crew on missions and have Ryan Seacrest whispering that 'America can vote for who swings through the window first and YOU decide whether to go with stun grenades or use lethal force.'

As far as whose team are the 'baddest', I couldn't start to guess. I would imagine they all have a lot of respect for each other and each brings something special to the party.

I've met a few Marines in Bangkok out drinking and they scared the crap out of me. If SEALs are badass Marines, I'd stay clear.

I knew a kid at University and his Dad was rumoured to be SAS and he was also scary and pretty mysterious. Nice guy who would disappear on 'business' for a month or so and no-one talked about what he did for a living. But I could definitely imagine him choking a guy to death with one hand while firing a Heckler and Koch with the other... (and chewing a ciger stump at the same time).

I knew it was a (bad) joke and i responded in kind. No offense was taken.

Actually SEALs (not Marines by any means) are't as hard core and tough as they are made out to be. Sure they are some bad ass guys who can push themselves way beyond the normal human limits. But the rumors are out of control and they are not gods. I have seen some of my SEAL buddies get their asses handed to em in bars by nobodies, but I have also seen one guy **** up 3 at one time.

The thing they are good at is perseverance. They won't quit no matter what. They have nerves of steel and they work amazingly fast and accurately as a team. But sometimes people take it way too far. Some of them are piece of **** human beings and others are of scholarly caliber. I have experienced the same with the SAS, hit or miss.

Could a SEAL team or SAS beat a platoon of Marines... yes, but that is because they are given 10X better training, 10X more of it and 10X the budget for better equipment.

Oh FFS; it is so obvious that the Al Qaeda website is actually run by the CIA under direction of the Illuminati. I saw Bin Laden today in the grocery aisle at Tesco. He is definitely NOT dead...
