Undercover
You really don't need extra sugar if you're using fruit) (especially high G.I. fruit like watermelon, strawberries, mango or pineapple). Also, if you want to keep the calories down, try substituting plain low-fat or non-fat yogurt for the ice cream. Haagen-Daaz and Ben & Jerry's are delicoius because the fat and sugar content is so high - typically about twice as many calories and three times as much fat as other brands. Whitepearl
If I want the taste: Frozen strawberries Full fat milk Ice cubes Vanilla ice-cream - blend add whipped cream (to make it easy I use the spray-cans) - mix it softly to keep the fluffy texture of the whipped cream... ENJOY ----------- If I look for nutritional value (after the gym): Pineapples Water or low fat milk Ice cubes Dextrose powder Hydrolized Whey Protein powder (best taste if ?Pina Colada? flavour from Dymatize Nutrition Co.) dumper
Well this isn't a smoothie as such, more a cocktail but I thought I'd share it with you. Sang Som + Coffee flavoured milk (available at Big C) produces a Baileys Cream style drink. Add ice if you want. I think its great !
