Just putting my new shoe rack together...

Were the instructions in mandarin and the diagrams so small you'd need an electron microscope to see them?

I went for the Tesco B1000 model...It looked great in the store...It has a seat on top, With a flip down door and loads of moving parts...Imagine IKEA instructions in Thai...

I always thought IKEA instructions were diagramatical so the script did not matter? However, I imagine a thai importer would change the diagrams a little to fit the perceptions of the 'drunk on whiskey' assembler?

Much confusion regarding a shoe rack with moving parts.....does it vibrate while one sits down to peruse the shoe collection?

No, it's a fancy model where the door opens towards the floor and and on the back of the door a mechanism pushes 3 separate compartments out to put your shoes in. Regarding the diagrams, they look to be a photocopy, of a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy maybe of another photocopy. They are barely distinguishable and do not resemble the pieces that came out of the box...

With perseverance though and Singha beer I completed the tasks and now I'm the proud owner of a shiny new shoe rack... :D
