I think most Australians would be concerned if we had an Aboriginal voted in as PM, although I don't think that would happen as they are a huge minority. I do have a lot of white South African friends and yes, they are racist through and through against blacks so that also inlfuences me somewhat. South Africa is going downhill at a rapid pace, and the whites cannot get out fast enough even all these years on after apartheid. I personally have nothing wrong with racism, heck, I used to live in Japan and Thailand, heck, I had Korean Kate here last night telling me all about Chinese and how much she hates them! I know some consdier it wrong, I'm sure worse if you are on the receiving end, but at the end of the day, we are all humans and we all think differently so with that in mind, I may suggest that it makes the next person no more right than the person next to him or her. Yes indigenous Australians are a minority (about 3% of the pop nationally) and there are currently no indigenous reps in Federal Parliament but what are heck are you talking about?
