I was a nerd.. and a rebel :?

I was gonna be kicked out of school for being a trouble maker but one of my teachers told the others since I got top marks why not just accredit me, or else I'd only cause trouble somewhere else... so I got accredited University Entrance instead of the boot. It pays to be a bad boy :-P

yup, that's me too...

and also a group *****...

I have my cool group of friends whom i still meet up, for example last night ;)...

I was the one who would stand up against the teachers if they did anything wrong, note, thai students most of the time are obedient & quiet...

However, I was also the one who had to make the mistake in my paper therefore I wouldnt get 100 from 100 and I was one out of two ppl from my class who passed the entrance exam and studied in one of the best universities in Thailand... , ahem.. sorry cant help but gotta brag myself a bit :P...

xoxo

  • 4 weeks later...

I was the quiet artist musician guy with enough talent to get allowed to hang out in the art room all day working on pen and inks and sculptures. WHen I hear young guys complaining about school I remind them of all the girls in school and that unless they go to college they will not find so many young girls so easy to hang around :P oooh and I thought high school ment doing as many drugs as possible

Well... Actually I didn't spend too much time IN high school. I was mostly known for finding imaginative excuses to cover for my frequent excursions at local cafes were I would play pool & video games most of my days. Sigh... times have changed.

Times have changed. In the US if the kid misses to much school the parents get fined and could even land in jail. no lie

Well they did have the good old "after school detention" in my days. But as I mentionned, I was pretty good at finding excuses to justify my absences.

To go back to your point, I have no problem with parents being made responsable for their children's behavior. Too many american parents expect teachers to completely educate their kids, while they don't do anything at home to raise them properly. Jail does seem a bit radical though.

I agree some parents suck but if they payed teachers well they would get better teachers. All that money f*ckin with Iraq would have done nicely in the US but then they love us dum it suits them.

they'd have to find me first. i had considerable expertise at ducking out of study halls and lunch periods and going to a nearby strip mall to play video games, without anyone noticing.

i had good grades so no one noticed that i was the ringleader of a group of (minor, mostly harmless) troublemakers. low profile... i started food fights that got the entire cafeteria in a state of war, food flying everywhere, then ducked out and let someone else 'do time' for it.

it all came crashing down when i pushed i a little too far. a group of friends and i formed the National Dishonor Society in response to our disdain for the Pollyanna-ish National Honor Society. a friend and i decided to make photocopies in the principal's office of our propaganda and applications. we made hundreds of copies before the copier jammed, we asked the admin assistant for help, and got caught. we got sent from the principal's office, um... to the principal's office.

the principal: "jeff. what are you doing here. i wasn't expecting this. you know i'll have to give you detention.

me: "that's all right Steve. do wha you gotta do."

I was the bully and also group *****. I remember back in high school during lunch hour we threatened some students to give us money so me and my group can get some cigarettes and stuff :lol:

We also had a big fight just before our final exam with this back stabbing b*tch who betrayed our group just so she can get good grades from the teachers.

and about as subtle as a brick. going after 'em with a broken bottle? hippocratic oath doesn' apply when you're off duty?

I never said that, that old conversation was taken out of text. Mark and I are also friends now.

Besides, that oath also serves to self protect as well, and it is NOT an obligatory oath . :P

I see you managed to hit just about every forum today again sir.

It's fun isn't it. :)
