SoBeIt
I love Swedish cheese .. The one called "Greve" Greve is a creamery, semi-hard cheese made from cow's milk. It is a copy of Swiss Emmental but is supple and dense, with a few large holes. Greve is a wheel-shaped cheese and weighs about 15 kg. The fat content is from 30 to 45%. It takes about 10 months to reach full maturity. Greve is made from cow's milk. Country: Sweden Milk: cow milk Texture: semi-hard Fat content: 30-45 % Ps. I hate blue cheese.. it is mold.. yuck! Scary taste..
Damnam1
what about some tasty surstroemming - anybody in for smelly encounter of the killing fishy kind ? If it is chees then I love the bavarian mix of camembert, butter, paprica powder and onion. Together with a fresh warm pretzel and a glass of dry red spanish or portuguese - that is almost paradise.. LakeGeneve
I love all cheeses.........but hey, wait a minute......didn't we do 'a favourite cheese' thread not so long ago? It would be interesting to compare the responses to see if tastes have changed in the intervening period.
