inamorato25
Who is Koi? Koi = Feixuan = Interesting reading, both in the hard cover and soft cover editions  Hey, forgot to mention one book I finished before the stuff on my last post. The Right Stuff by Tom Wolfe. Long, and Wolfe's use of exclamation marks!!!! is annoying!!!! but if you're interested in the development of the space program, you'll like it. I'd give it a double thumbs up.

O123ok
1421-The Year China Discovered America. by Gavin Menzies The title pretty much sums it up. A book that rewrites history. But did you know that between 1421-1423 a Chinese expedition lead by Admiral Zheng He also discovered Australia, South America and Antartica and were the first to round the Cape of Good Hope some 80 years before Columbus arrived in America. They may have dining manners that would make a pig blush, but those slinky chinkies are smart cookies. dexlowe2004
Pathy -- Lord Jim, is a great read - but worth it. Amazing to think Conrad was originally Polish. I'm reading at the moment "Mao, the unknown story" by Jung Chang ("Wild Swans").
zeusbheld
just finished the evolution of desire by david buss. if you've ever been curious about the strange world of human mating behavior, and how it got that way, this book is worth checking out. it will confirm many things you know, and many things you dont want to know. and there are a few things most people will find surprising. there are a lot of books on the subject lately but this guy is one of the ones actually doing the research, and it's a good read. Malky
I've just finished reading Roy Keane's autobiography. Never really been a big Keane fan but his book was an excellent read. There are some funny stories involving Brian Clough and his time playing for Ireland under Jack Charlton and Mick McCarthy.

melasinsh
I just picked up "Becoming Madame Mao" by Anchee Min. I stayed up for 2 nights but not finished yet. Excellent book, non-fiction, biographyof the wife of Mao Zhedong, if you are interested in history of China in the 20th century. It is her life from 1919 to 1991.
