Treborz
It appears Mrs Clinton is almost out of the Democratic race so it's probably going to be down to Obama vs McCain. What are the repurcussions for the middle east with either of these two as president? Will Obama pull the troops out of Iraq....we all know McCain won't. Is McCain too old to be president? Is Obama too young/inexperienced? Discuss
Dave40
Mrs Clinton is better looking than obama!!! That's very important!!! She would of got my vote!!! (If I was able to vote)
PJack
Kennedy was younger (43) than Obama (48 ) when he was elected and Kennedy had scant more experience. Granted the world was a little bit simpler in those days (read: political world in USA). That said, I am not convinced inexperience is such a bad thing. In political terms it could mean lack of political capital owed to other politicians and special interest groups. It could mean a new way of looking at problems, including US foreign policy. I said it before. I like Obama. He is pretty slick, but..... I wanna believe. The only thing that has me concerned is he wants to start universal healthcare that is optional. I think it needs to be mandatory for it to work well. I think Hillary is like Bill but without the brilliant intellect and charm. In short, just a manipulative political animal who does not show much ethical principle.
Treborz
Do you think hilary's voters will vote for Barrack or abstain or even turn to the other side and go with the republicans? Also who would Barrack appoint as his vice president, can't see it being Hilary after all the bitching that has been going on.
Stramash
what does it matter who wins the Democrat nomination?? If it looks like they will lose, the Republicans will just cheat, lie and break laws again in order to win!!
PJack
... who would Barrack appoint as his vice president, can't see it being Hilary after all the bitching that has been going on. I cant either. But it is probably one of the most important questions on his mind these days. Goddamn, I hope he gets that choice right. He needs to draw in more white affluent voters and wrap this **** up at the Democratic convention and get a VP who can fill out what he lacks. And if his selection is a woman it might just be too much change for many Americans.
