SweetieBabie
The Coen Brothers did it again in " Burn After Reading ", not as great as 'No Country For Old Man' for the same screenwriter/director. But It is worth going to see if you are appreciate cult films, with it's different, entertaining, unpredictable sequences and wicked sense of humor of the film. BTW, just my little observation,... Have you ever noticed "Brad Pitt" in many movies, he, 90% of the time, has always eating something or chewing something in his mouth, donuts, gums, slurpie, foods, straw etc. what's up with that??? Burn after reading was ok but they could have done more with it I think. Speaking of Brad Pitt no idea what's up with all the things in his mouth but you mentioning Brad Pitt reminded me of one of his first movies, Johnny Suede. Great hair! zeusbheld
incidentally Tom DiCillo's send up of indie filmmaking, Living in Oblivion, was more or less based on the experience of making Johnny Suede.
funky_house
Terminator Salavation is released in july or june as well, can't wait to see it. Christian Bale is playing John Conner. IMO any movie with Christian Bale is worth watching. 1st class actor. You can watch a High Def trailer here. Seeing as its an Apple site, you may need Quicktime to view it. http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/terminatorsalvation/

Hmm never heard of this, looks interesting though. it seems to be similar to American movie, which is also about independent film making.

Dave40
I really want to see Slumdog Millionaire don't know if it will be released in Thailand it is directed by Danny Boyle (trainspotting, 28 days later The Beach etc etc) The story of an impoverished child on the streets of Mumbai that lucks out on India's variant of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? It's meant to be really good!!!! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=AIzbwV7on6Q
SweetieBabie
The Elephant King http://www.theelephantking.com/ Explores the twisted symbiosis between two American brothers--one domineering and nihilistic, the other guileless and introspective--as they binge on drink, drugs, and women in an exotic land. A domineering mother dispatches her young, introverted son Oliver off to Thailand to do everything he can to lure his reckless, older brother back home to the U.S. to face pending fraud charges. Oliver finds the intoxication of Thailand hard to resist, especially when it has a face as alluring as Lek's. As Oliver falls deeply in love for the first time, Jake slips deeper into despair, and the seams of their relationship begin to come undone. When the true extent of Jake's decadence and self-destruction is revealed to Oliver, he is forced to decide whether he will save his brother's life or his own. Would be surprised if didn't get release in Thailand, especially given the large Indian population there... Danny Boyle's film Slumdog Millionaire has swept the Critics' Choice Awards in California, winning five prizes, including best film and director. Dev Patel, who stars in the rags-to-riches story about an improbable winner of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, was named best young actor. The movie also collected the trophies for best writer and composer
Chang Doe
The Elephant King http://www.theelephantking.com/ Strange that there are no DVD or at least rapidshare files available. But hey, my Polish is not that good ;-) Trailer also in HD --> http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/theelephantking/
