ThailandFriends . . .

head2_left_couple2.jpg  Yes, there it is . . . ThailandFriends . . . connecting everyone . . .   ???Is this true??  Are we connecting??  When I read some of the journal and forum posts . . . well, not everyone is quite connected.  The "management" of TF has given us "tools" that we can use to get connected.  The voting, the testimonials, the PMs, the journals, the forums, the chat rooms, and the events, all meant to aide us in our search for friendship.  I hate it so much when I see members shutting off their vote button, their testimonials OR their entire profile because they've come under attack by other TF members.  Why does this happen??  Jealousy, envy . . . or maybe just because the time isn't taken to get to know one another.  For those of you who have never been to a TF Event, a great opportunity presents itself this Saturday.  I realize many TF members do not live in Thailand and are unable to attend events . . . but for those of you who are within a taxi or bus ride from the BTS Skytrain, Saturday's events would be a  good chance for you to actually meet the people behind the photos you see on the profiles.  You've seen the party journals, the photo journals . . . everyone talking, laughing, dancing, eating, drinking and so on.  It's not fake . . . it's all real.  I'll bet you've even said to yourself, "I should have gone to that party." or "I'll go to the next one for sure." . . . but you never do.  Okay, maybe you're shy or you're just not sure what to do.  It's okay to bring a friend or neighbor.  You don't have to come alone.  Just get off the train at Nana Station.  From Nana Station it's just a short walk to Soi 7/1 where Absolute7 is located or to Soi 5 where Gullivers is.  Gullivers is on the right side of the street.  When you come through the main door you will see many people sitting at the bar.  If you look to the left you will see a door which leads to a large room.  This is where we normally have our parties.  Then just look around for a face you recognize . . . downfinger.gif    Like this one . . . downfinger.gif    100_1724.jpg . . . and introduce yourself . . . downfinger.gif   . . . or maybe this one . . . downfinger.gif 100_1286.jpg . . . okay, maybe not that one . . . maybe these??? downfinger.gifDSC01391.jpgor them . . .  downfinger.gif  100_2812.jpgor maybe even . . .100_2355.jpgMonKeyPhong !!!! downfinger.gif   . . . But if you see this face . . . downfinger.gif 100_1018.jpg . . . R U N !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   LOL Well, you get the idea . . .Rene (Igasoq) has come all the way from Greenland . . . so let's show him a great time!!  I hope to see you all on Saturday!! KEEP ON SMILIN'          ;)

Think you have a few things wrong about the vote buttons being off Papa, mine is off because I know there are guys on here that have a programs to maximize their votes!

Do you think thats fair?So what does the vote button prove? To me it proves you either spend all day every day on a computer with TF open.

Or it means you have a program to maximize votes or good at cut & paste hellos all day.I think the smart ones work it out

Another point is some of us work 8-10 hours a day and don't have as much time to be online.

I have some very nice friends on TF and are very appreciative to have them as friends and they understand about time and I can say not one of them worry or care about voting.

Another point is that some as myself have a fiancee or partner that live in a different country so of course its paramount to spend time with them also and I think you are very lucky to be able to party when you wish, but not all have the same opportunity to do so and maybe their partners wish to spend quality time in private.

I appreciate what you are trying to do and applaud you for trying to get more people to the TF parties.

Papa I think there are many varied personalities on this site and thats great. One day when I'm able to I will see that I get to a TF party in BKK as I have with one member in Manila and we had a public party with our own fun.

Cheers!

BJ - Once again . . . the voting is just a "tool". You don't have to use it. There are no "special programs" on TF. I assure you . . . most of my time is spent offline . . . although I have fallen asleep with the computer still on from time to time.

FB2 - Thank you for the correction. I wouldn't want anyone to get lost either . . . lol

Why THIS event is just THIS week end?
