One Scared Japanese Guy

Recommended Posts

There's a story that's been knocking around in the Bangkok Post for a few days....

http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/16625/queen-shows-concern-for-nine-year-old

A quick synopsis...

There's a young Thai orphan. His mother was a bargirl who got pregnant with a Japanese customer. After she died, he took to hanging around a tourist spot, showing pictures of his Dad to Japanese tour groups and asking if they know him.

Now the press and the Queen are involved and immigration are searching nine year old records for the father's whereabouts.

I'm pretty sure there's a married Japanese guy crapping his pants somewhere in Tokyo waiting for all this to catch up with him.

Track him down?

Embarrass him in front of his family and friends and work colleagues?

Possibly lose his job?

Possibly lose his wife?

Make him pay child support?

Does he deserve it?

Isn't a hooker supposed to make sure she doesn't get knocked up by a customer?

What are your thoughts?

May have been a one time thing.

Dude may not have any idea that he has a child.

No way they can prove it unless he submits to a DNA test. A picture proves nothing. Could be a pic of a friend of a "John" or even a pic of some random dude that Mommy found and simply told the kid that it was his father. Bigger lies have been told.

This may hit some fellow and he has no idea.

But if the Japanese Gov't does not force him to submit to a DNA test, there is no way that the Thai Gov't can do a thing about it. As long as old Dude doesn't visit Thailand again.

If the kid was my child though or there was a chance that he was mine, I'd take him in. Abandoning a child. That's some hellish bad karma in my opinion.

certain choices bring certain consequences

But what choice? He chose to have sex with a hooker (not illegal in any serious way in Thailand)...

Now because the kid is cute and in the newspapers the guy must pay child support?

Wouldn't it be better (and easier) to hunt down the tens of thousands of Thai 'deadbeat Dads' who abandon 'non-hooker' girls when they impregnate them?

newspapers are about spectacle, not justice. the japanese guy's a much better story.

Unless the guy hung around Bangkok for a long time after having sex with the girl, it is unlikely that he is even aware that the child exists. The mother would not have any idea that she was pregnant for at least a month, and it's likley by then that the guy had gone back home totally unaware of the situation unfolding in Thailand. Unless he "fell in love" with the girl, it is also very unlikley that he would even have contact details for her, nor she for him, so I think its about 90% that he has no idea - and we cant blame him for that. The one who did something incredibly silly is the mother who had unprotected sex with a customer...any working girl who does that has no respect for her own life, nor for any consequences that may result - including the most likley one of getting pregnant. I feel sorry for the boy, who is just 2 years younger than my own son, so I can relate to the story on this basis.

what choice?

every choice involved -

pick one i guess they both have their own ups and down

he chose to pay for sex (bad move)

she chose to sell her sex for money (bad move)

he chose to not use protection IT SEEMS (SUPA BAD MOVE)

she chose NOT to use protection OR birth control IT SEEMS (bad move)

he chose Not to keep contact or be smart about the consequences (who wouldnt i suppose)

she chose to wait until she knew 4 sure she was pregnant ((not saying she didnt kno and just wanted to play it out)) then play that ever so popular POINT THE FINGER game

i duno, i dont think hes in the wrong nor she

however IFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF she was only focused on support or said child having a father

THERE IS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better ways of finding and contacting him instead of playing that IM THE VICTIM, HELP ME FIND HIM drama bullshit that uneducated and immature females seem to love to portray

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND

HE should have known that its aint a good idea to stick ur **** in a place it shouldnt be n there was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better ways to have safe and CLEAN sex without ever paying any currency

hmmmmmmmmmmm

any of those decisions had a next step in consequence

maybe there is no right on wrong cause in the end only they can judge themselves not each other

i feel bad for her not thinking it through and going that slutty "whos the dad route"

and i feel bad for him who may NOT be the father and may end up losing alot for the allegations

seems like an episode of Maury if u ask me

has anyone actually verified that she was a working girl, or is this just an assumption? she wouldn't have had to have been in order to get an STD (AIDS i'd imagine). for example i know of a good-girl type in New York who got herpes from her boyfriend's ******* around...

So where it came from that she was a hooker and pregnant with Japanese customer?

Or she also was a hooker but married to a Japanese guy?

here...

http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/16519/hope-springs-eternal-in-search-for-dad

Working at a night entertainment venue in Bangkok gave her sister exposure to health risks, Ms Pattama said.

She said her sister ran away from home as a teenager seeking her fortune in Bangkok.

Nine years ago, Thipmontha returned home with her Japanese husband Katzumi Zato and broke the news about her pregnancy before disappearing for a few months.

family's probably a pretty reliable source, although i am not always 100 percent confident that the Post will get the details right.
